It's a decent prequel to a very beloved character of the NCIS franchise.
And, yes, I know most of Gibbs's rules, including #9.

It's 1991 and we see Gibbs as a probie for NIS. You get to see the man he was before he became the legend we know today & that's cool.
The Mike Franks actor is on point. And I'm nerding out over the pagers, overhead projectors, and weeks long forensic results from 30 years ago. Discman anyone?

It's not perfect. There's a 2003 episode about a trans woman (back then a transvestite) that's cringe worthy now. In 2025, only 3 white characters out of a 7 person crew & 1 is queer.
I've begun watching "NCIS Origins" that tells the origin of S.A. Leroy Jethro Gibbs & so far Im enjoying it.

I'm on his mailing list and when I saw he'd be in my neck of the woods, I grabbed tickets back in September. Show isn't until August. 😆

The writer accuses AOC and Crockett of "self-serving publicity". 👀
Someone is biased and probably misogynistic because the T and GOP do that ALL THE FUCKING TIME.

Dad cleaned what ash we did get out of the gutters & I had an N95 mask strapped to the handlebars of my bike (gift from the g-rents) for months afterwards in case she blew again.
To those who died on & around the mountain 45 years ago today, we remember you. 🕯️

We experienced minor earthquake tremors a few weeks leading up to the eruption. Another rarity.
The aftershocks also occurred weeks after.
We were lucky as the ash plume was being blown due east, but not to those in its path. The surrounding area was like a megaton bomb went off (it did).

If I remember correctly that's a Damiana liqueur bottle. A very popular drink at some pagan festivals I used to attend.

Aw geez, that sucks and I'm sorry you're going through all that.
Homeowner-ship is not like it was when our grandparents could buy a home for $5,000 and earn enough to keep up maintenance.

Write her a letter, even if she never receives it. Then grieve.
Next, take that letter and bury it someplace.

Very cool. But my attitude would be different if I found that inside the house. lol
