I mean I could logic that away pretty easy saying “ sure it’s in a different dimension but you still have to enter it and they crashed while entering” like we can do that forever, or just agree it was cool and to not worry too much about the rules of space wizards. Listen the only star wars media I enjoy is knights of the old republic 2 and at the end of the tutorial area they literally say “we can’t go into hyperspace here because we will crash into the asteroids” so I was primed for that already being a thing and it was cool to see.
