Was the 4th grader in Tren de Aragua or MS-13? Hard to keep up

What will be the new name? Top contenders: USNS Dan White (Milk's assassin), USNS Donald J. Trump, USNS Pete Hegseth, USNS Jefferson Davis, USNS John Wilkes Booth, USNS Nathan Bedford Forrest, USNS George Lincoln Rockwell, USNS Nick Fuentes, USNS Victor Orban, USNS Vladimir Putin. So many contenders

How many of those 64% of births in his home state does Mike Johnson think are waste and fraud? Or does he think they are all Black and Brown babies so he is proudly slashing a DEI program?

Maybe he can replace her with one of his rescued Afrikaners, saved from "white genocide." They have lots of experience with eliminating the public presence of the people Trump hates.

Dictatorships depend on the consent and acceptance of the governed. We can't rely just on the political opposition party to stop it. Everyday Americans have been vigilant in public protests against Trump and Trumpism, but it's up to all of us to keep it up, and escalate it

She's up for re-election next year. Let's hope this quote gets sent and replayed to every Iowa voter every day before they vote

Like Trump said about millionaires need tax cuts too, deadly viruses also need a friend - in the White House and HHS

More than that, an improved and updated Medicare for All. versions of that exist in most other industrialized countries, with better patient care outcomes, and a more humane system

Yes Big Pharma has too much power over everything. But their influence with peer-reviewed leading medical journals pales in comparison to their stranglehold over Congress and other electeds. If RFK Jr. is not talking about that, he is not an anti-corporate "populist," just another Trumpian fraud.

It’s simple. The EU just has to get in line behind Canada and agree to become the 52nd US state

RFK Je is causing an “existential crisis” for the health of Americans with his anti-vax fanaticism and advocacy of other crackpot conspiracy theories

Trump is not racist, he just thinks there is only one country in sub-Sahara Africa, and there is one set of Black governing officials and laws with one dedication to persecuting white people. Because as we know, white people are the only persecuted people in the world.

Hardly a surprise from an administration that believes that any police accountability and reform only benefits Black and Brown communities, which is false, and are completely indifferent to police misconduct that polarizes communities and makes everyone less safe

Was there an ounce of due process for any of these deportees? Highly doubtful. And the inhumanity of just dumping people in a "third country" and deliberately choosing countries where there is active war/civil strive and mass hunger is despicable. All of Congress should be up in arms.

South Sudan has experienced spillover from the horrific civil war in Sudan, on top of a humanitarian crisis for 90% of the population in emergency or catastrophic levels of hunger. Totally in line with Trump and his inhumane cabal trying to deport people to horrendous detention centers in Libya

We're not the sickest country in the world, just behind other industrialized countries because of our broken, profit-first health care system. That however is not an excuse to destroy research programs working on cancer, Alzheimer's and other critical work. No words for this heartless insanity

Maybe someone needs to tell Trump and the Congressional Republicans how many white people, red state, and Trump voters are going to lose their health coverage simply to pander to their billionaire friends and donors. Medicaid is not a DEI program. Then again, they obviously don't really care

Horrific. Here's how Libya treats refugees: “Libya’s ill-treatment of migrants is notorious, its detention centers are hellholes, and refugees have nowhere to turn for protection,” Hanan Salah, associate Middle East and North Africa director at Human Rights Watch. www.hrw.org/news/2025/05...

Antisemitism is a core belief for Trump, along with racism and misogyny, as he has demonstrated repeatedly. Weaponizing antisemitism has been for him nothing more than a useful tool for authoritarian repression to silence dissent and criminalize those he views as adversaries. No one should be fooled

Even lost all his appointees to the Supreme Court. Wrote a piece this week about how much Trump's rendition and deportation policies parallel the patterns of fascist regimes via @commondreams.org www.commondreams.org/opinion/trum...
