Canāt play Partey without Rice against this level of competition. Think we might need another RCB option. We ask so much of our fullbacks they canāt reasonably be relied on for CB cover. Need to shoot more. All fixable in the window but it wonāt be cheap.

Probably need someone who is an attacking mid 10/8 righty first but can also play on the LW. Just my opinion but ESR not good enough for this Arsenal even in a rotation role. Probably the same for Fabio plus he is a lefty. In the end, Mikel and I probably just see things differently. Iām a nobody.

If the defense is the rock we our built on, and we are missing all our top attackers. I would just lean into and go 5-3-2 and say itās nil-nil or we are winning from a break or great attacking move. At least in the PL until Saka/Martinelli are back.

I think for me, itās less about preferred style of play / L8 but more lack of alternatives. We only have one way to attack and when it doesnāt work the options are really just like for like. Admittedly, hard to have high quality alternatives if they arenāt going to get enough game time.

If we sold Kiwior and Tomi we would need at least 1 more CB and possibly 2. Suspect itās just Kiwior and Zinny out this summer. What is anyone going to give you for Tomi? Limits the need to at most one CB and you could take the risk with none if you wanted to use those funds on attack.
