Real independents don't register, and if they're registered they just stay whatever because who cares.

It’s not complete until we find the “The Pope went HERE in Cincinnati” article…

I'm finding this to be less of an issue more and more but then I think about consolidation. I don't mind when they give you the option to pay by text or QR code without downloading the app.

It's so easy to forget it's a Star War and even when they do the little easter eggs/references (sparingly) they're so easy to ignore without missing a beat. I would prefer Tony Gilroy do a Michael Clayton show or we get another The Americans but we're so lucky we got this.

To put it another way, the January EPL transfer window for 2024-25 was 34 days (inclusive), and the summer window was 78 days (inclusive). Together, that's 112 days, which is exactly 16 weeks. They're having the same exact 78-day summer window this year, plus the June 1-10 window on top of it.

That seems like an explanation for why they just didn’t keep it open the whole time. (And the FIFA reg says it’s up to the FA.) Why is the window the exact same length as last year? The reason is obviously not the CWC. Also, we don’t have to interpret BBC articles we can just read the regs.

I don't think any of this is right. The 2024 Premier League window was June 14 to August 30. That's 78 days, inclusive. The 2025 window is June 16 to September 1. That's 78 days, inclusive. Nothing in the regs that I see require a shortened main window and none of the other leagues are doing it.

Don’t. He doesn’t actually live there. (It’s actually kind of a legendary high school party house and there was a lot of mourning when word got out he bought it.)

Spiritually you’re correct but his place is in the city like two miles from the city center.

Do you have a source for Josef's TAM extension?

Is that what happened with Jozy and Josef? I thought with Josef Atlanta paid most of his salary (using the buyout on his budget charge) so Miami only had to pick up a relatively small portion. He definitely wasn’t extended because he signed with MTL after as a free agent.

You could imagine a lot of permutations. Maybe a regular starter, maybe a starter for big games who comes in early in the 2nd half otherwise (to save his legs). Using the team's recent formations, here are possibilities (haven't thought too hard but I like 4 atb here):

Not taking a side here but motion to separate "unpleasant" and "dangerous."

I’m still worried about him tbh and not exactly counting on him coming back in full. If he does though, whew boy.

He's also so good in (True Romance/Thunderheart/Heat/Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang)
You can't take your eyes off him in The Island of Dr. Moreau, one of the worst movies I've ever seen.
