At this point, don't they know? Will calling in about it really make the difference to them? I feel like any Dem in office is well and truly aware of the stakes...right?
It's not like they answer personally. Don't they just get handed a report that says "X people called about Y"?

Boil any conservative issue down to "I don't want to be told what to do."
Empathy means acknowledging injustices and the need for change.
To the financially comfortable, equity means having to share with parties unrelated to one's tribe, which is being told what to do.
It all comes from fear.
