Hey @bsky.app, any chance we can get an “open in browser” option in the iOS app’s share sheet, please? The number of times I want to open a post in a browser so I can come back to it later…

Sorry! Reposting. It’s the law!

Oh man, I didn’t know that Pocket was shutting down! I’ve been using this app for over a decade, from back when it was called Read It Later!

And a public preview that moves the ReSharper engine out of the main Visual Studio process!

ReSharper in VS Code! Yes, Code!

Rider and ReSharper are now officially on #BlueSky... Go and follow to stay up-to-date with your favorite tools! 😉 @jetbrains-rider.bsky.social @resharper.bsky.social

Even the best AI code needs guidance. ▶️ That’s why we're building a catalog of coding guidelines for #Junie, covering Java, Spring Boot, Docker, and more – to help you (and AI) write consistent, reliable code that meets your standards👇 jb.gg/tmkr7d

Hello Bluesky! Fancy #ReSharper in your #VSCode? Here you go! And if you're at #MSBuild do come by the booth to say hi and take a look at in action

Well that Superman trailer’s a whole lotta fun

best unicode character is "ꙮ" without a doubt. used one time in a single 15th century manuscript to emphasise "many-eyed seraphim" and unicode thought it was really important that we can type that whenever we want

Wipeout. It’s why I bought the console in the first place.

Andor just gets better and better. I love the characters, the costumes and the sets, the little details that make the cultures real (and recognisably real life). And the “power couple” are just wonderful.

In my head, Sunhill was the police station for Eastenders, Holby City the hospital, and all the kids went to Grange Hill.

Very useful. Local History will save your butt by taking snapshots of your code while you work. Now it will label changes made by the AI Assistant. Nifty!

Thought for the day.

First batch of 3 S2 Andor episodes done. Still great.

Wait, this is live action?! I’m in.

Scene Notes 1.3.0 – my Unity extension to place notes and tasks directly into scenes – is out! This release is packed with new quality of life features, and a ton of bug fixes. #unity3d

Today is #StarWars day (May 4th) so I thought I'd share one of the best things that ever happened. We lived quite near to Elstree Studios - where they shot the films - and my dad knew a bloke who worked there. So one day he took my brother and I to the set of Empire Strikes Back for a visit. 1/2

Interstellar (2014) Absolute Zero is a short, 7-page comic book published in Wired. It told the story of Dr. Mann (Matt Damon) on his cold planet, before the movie. Absolute Zero was written by Christopher Nolan himself, and drawn by Sean Gordon Murphy.

That’s the rewatch of S1 of Andor done. Still as great as the first time. Finally time to watch S2!

I think about this comic at least once a week

Could the elderly have had the right idea all along? 🤔

Stone cold banger and one of the great music videos

He pulls an encyclical? You pull a papal bull. He sends one of yours to vespers? You send one of his to compline! That's the Chicago way

Good post with some details of the huge amount of behind the scenes work going in to performance tracking of WebStorm (and other IDEs)

😍

my mate's in the Swiss Guard and reports that the old tradition of "conclave tins" is, contrary to earlier rumours, very much still on

London Underground Live — tube trains in real time. www.londonunderground.live one of those things you could watch for hours & forget about other stuff .

This is, without question, the most amazing tombstone in cinema history.

This reminds me of seeing a post where someone described their favourite switch, and I immediately thought off a specific, tactile toggle switch on a lamp. I never knew I had a favourite switch before that. I never knew I had a favourite spoon before this.

I enjoyed Doom Patrol as a TV series much more than I expected to. Could never get into the comic. Maybe it’s that special Alan Tudyk magic? He seems to have the best time in everything he’s in

Talking to someone recently that I thought foldable phones were stupid and would continue to say so until the moment Apple released one. It was supposed to be a joke.

Oh, happy Dracula Daily starting again day for those who celebrate! draculadaily.substack.com

Not sure what I was expecting from The Accountant, but I certainly got every bit of it.
