Yeah they’re very good at most things art related - not their absolute passion but they come up with some really good pieces.

The kid uses gimp and blender for some of the 3d stuff however, they’re more sketch/painting.

You’re not a “sell out” the sad issue is FOSS is all community driven by nature; they don’t have the development resources that huge businesses like adobe have you know. Also you work with what you know.

Ah yeah of course - the perpetual licenses were dropped quite some time ago and they subscription models now. I remember seeing it some time ago but I don’t work in the arts industry.

It can absolutely be a slog to play these older titles and as you say, if you're not feeling the nostalgia then meh.. I have never played Eternal Darkness I may have to give it a go, always happy to pick something new up. I would encourage anyone to play EoL just for the fact its two people doin it

That’s absolutely fair, difficult to play them and I absolutely did the same after playing through all the original resident evils through GOG. Ngl I do love the tank controls which is why I am so keen on Echoes of the Living!
