Depends what people see. How many reform voters will ever read about the bad governance? They'll just keep seeing the messaging that Reform will mean "better days" over and over via social media, GB News and the Express/Mail.

FCO ministers spending their entire lives criss crossing the globe to speak at random meetings and events worldwide as ambassadors stand silent behind them....??!

This is bizarre. Not sure where it leaves ambassadors and other diplomats!

Hopefully someone can help me with a question: I know NY is fairly liberal but does this mean Mamdani is almost certainly going to be mayor or could a Republican or Independent win?

Of course, it's better than doing nothing. But actually voting is the one and only thing that matters. Let's hope they turn out in the next US elections....

Is J6 for January 6? I watched that event in horror from our home here in the UK. It's incredibly dystopian to think that day is now something people are proud of. How far, and how fast, the US has fallen.

I'd love to agree but I'm not sure what millions of people protesting will change? The way the US system works, you can't bring down your government and he seems to be able to do more or less whatever he wants!

I wish it had brewed pre November 2024. It's a bit late now.

There's a climate crisis but apparently they think it won't affect them.
