Now visualize their brain exploding when they come across a book about Italian medieval history, the city states, and the Pope with his territorial bishops.......... techbros with less historical knowledge than their own kids.

This is out of putin playbook: humiliate your enemies in public. Soviet style

We still celebrate the most murderous folks of the past as civilization beacons, like the Roman emperors and Napoleon....

The landscape is so similar to Star Wars, but with the media control of big tech that resembles, effects wise, Orwell's panopticon

There is an epidemic of kidnappings by the government. We need a massive campaign to Bring them Home and show Americans that they/we will be next

Yes, and at the same time you have to raise awareness that this is fascism. One of the problems I see is the quick normalization of the even quicker fall into dictatorship. Pressure campaigns are more for normal ppl than government, tbh

Idea: why not building a campaign to free each of the deported people from ICE lagers? Remember the "Bring them home" campaign? It kept pressure up for months, and this would be against the concrete scenario of any of us being kidnapped sooner or later. Needs community, belief, and lobbying

Agree, but we need to prevent it to happen and "Liberate the camps" before the scenes from Soviet and US armies' memory manifest themselves. This shouldn't also stop us from condemning the kidnapping and imprisonment in the first place

I think we should start a campaign to free each of the deported, modeled on the "Bring them home" campaign. I am shocked that we let gov kidnap ppl and steal their freedom without doing anything. Jewish ppl have a strong community and lobby, we should learn bsky.app/profile/clio...

It's time to start calling Republicans "republikins", to remind them the last faithful of Mussolini's Saló "Republic". Bet there will be kidnappings during and after mass protests, as well as before elections

I read around that in the EU and Chinese decision rooms they are discussing to leverage the big pile of US treasury bonds they hold. Like dumping 10% to see how it feels. Does anyone have more info?

Why do we keep calling them Republicans? They are maybe "republichins", like the Italians who supporter Mussolini in his last days during the Saló "Republic"

We can confidently expect now people disappearing during and after mass protests, and before elections. The path is very clear, we are under fascism.

What do you think the tech bros' plan is? Create the network cities? How do they absorb the market losses from the tariffs with China and extra regulations in EU?

Why does it terrify you?

Putin and trump just gutted the most successful Ukrainian tactics to free up Russian resources to the Frontline. And, as the entire talk preannounces, Kiev will not have weapons from the US as a condition to peace. Real deal maker this Donald, they "ate him for lunch"

I think we should stop talking about "west" and "western culture". In all his biases, Carl Schmidt hit it right when defined "west" as an American imperialist idea, against Europe

Bring a big popular protest outside congress and lock arms in a big circle surrounding the building. In Italy it was called "girotondo" to protect institutions
