“Most of the UK public (88%) believe the government should have the power to stop the use of an AI product if it is deemed to pose a serious risk” The really progressive route would be to have an AI ethics framework that limits the risk occurring in the first place

Evidence were it ever needed that Refuk are all about power - everything else is a means to an end

Spot on observations from @garygilligan.bsky.social on the immediate aftermath of RefUk starting to have control of councils. I think citizens in their areas (including my own in Lancashire) will be getting more emphasis on the we aRe fUK’ed than on good public services

Führage simply cannot bear anyone around him who may cast a shadow over his ego. To lose 1/5 MPs in a year is unfortunate, to lose 2/5 is possibly a coincidence but to lose 2/5 plus your party chairman all of whom cite differences with their former idol? Well, it’s not just recently

this is going to end with a 150% tariff on tweeting, isn't it.

Within the space of an evening Musk has gone from (just about) an ally of Trump’s to alleging that he’s in the Epstein files and should be impeached. Meanwhile, Steve Bannon suggests Musk should be deported. Just another normal night in Trump’s America.

In any context, it’s hard being a victim. Most of us will usually empathise with a victim - but in this case, well… 🍿📺

If you don’t question why the ethics of AI need to be explored and regulated this should change your mind.

Kamala Harris reacts to Trump/fElon tiff

BREAKING: ICE to pay fElon a visit as South Africa added to banned countries list by Trump

The Bromance is well and truly burned toast

Donold falls out with fElon and Führage falls out with Yusuf - ON THE SAME DAY. Count one in the win column.

Interesting viewpoint. Seems the romance between Trump and the judges he appointed may be on the wane. Donold will be bawling “not fair” before long but the reality is the judiciary are all that stand between an admittedly flawed sovereign democratic America and a Trumpian dystopia

Palantir stock up 75% since Trump became President. Correlation? Your data is being monetised and used to make £bns in profits. Trump, Starmer & Farage will give your data away. Streeting sees Palantir as a key partner in the NHS - people who care about the NHS and patient confidentiality DO NOT.

Jon Stewart is a legend & the way this show is trying to explain to a mainstream audience the gravity what is happening in the US is amazing. It was both thrilling & terrifying to be part of it. Thank you @TheDailyShow 👏 www.youtube.com/watch?v=vG7C...

For people in local government areas with councils controlled by RefUK there is a list of local government powers (discretionary functions) and duties (mandatory obligations) here that you can check against if your council start swinging the spending axe. I was the original creator of this list.

Bye bye flower beds, planters and any initiative to make your town look nice. Bye bye public toilets. Bye bye maintenance/upgrading of parks and play equipment for local children Bye bye money spent on community events 👋👋 pride in your area www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Happy Monday Blueskyers. My rose arch is in full bloom so only fair I share it with you guys.

My partner who has MS has had the exact same impact since being switched from Tysabri after 14 yrs) to the cheaper biosimilar Tyruko. Reduced mobility & increased fatigue; probably a bigger deterioration in 6 months than the previous 6 yrs combined. She is back on Tysabri now but the damage is done.

Hold all the cards and eating tacos 😂

Blue Labour = Trojan plants. Expel them. If they want RefUk policies go join RefUK. Garages biggest success is Blue Labour.
