But to swallow a Caramel wafer
Is safer.

Only accepting applications from political virgins and people born into Green Party families from now on.

In need of a good political home.
I've never been made to feel out of place in the Green Party as it's somewhere that my values align. I'd welcome more disgruntled labour lefties to help with all the work that needs to be done to bring about the change the country needs.

Hi there, "disgruntled Labour leftie" here 👋
Currently putting in a shift for the Green Party as one of your regional coordinators.
You appear to need a bolt for that stable door where you no longer have a horse...
There are some wonderful hard working, compassionate, former labour members

As much as he picked his aides there was a corrupt power structure within the party waiting for this kind of leader. That's why he'll stay. He picked the right dynasties and party royalty to cosy up with and they'll keep him there and await their turn for power.

All the signs were there, he's lied and he's lied and he's lied

He has a massive majority of loyal MPs, I don't think he'll be resigning any time soon.

Ah I'm just waking up you'd already said that line. I was going to go with "how's that for a slice of fried gold?" It's still Cornetto trilogy

This is why I'm backing @zackpolanski.bsky.social as leader for the Green Party

And you use this language so flippantly?
comment in response to

Your language here is absolutely vile. Comparing participating in a democratic leadership contest as a putsch and when the only putsch that anyone thinks of is the beer hall putsch.
Levelling this at a Jewish leader is grim.

Good thing that division has a Green candidate who supports genuine grass roots democracy, genuine devolution of powers, and who lives and works hard in that division every single day.
My ideals and postcode haven't changed since 2017 when we were trying to build something like what you describe.

I'm still wearing them 20+ years later (in fact the originals only gave out a couple of years ago). The new ones don't have the holes round the side so my dignity stays in!

I was an early adopter with Crocs when I was working as a chef. A colleague pointed to them and said, "those holes around the side, that's where your dignity leaks out"

Hey that's me on the site that I'm not supposed to be using! That tweet is now up to 300,000 views.
Bruce has no wisdom or empathy and regularly plays pundit rather than host. She amplifies points she agrees with and attempts to belittle those she disagrees with.

Also it's infuriating that you only mention the Greens at the end of your list, maybe they are the last to talk to because they've been saying what you are saying since at least 2012.

Labour will turn you into a Dale Vince or Fergal Sharkey character where they can woo the left by you standing near them.
They might even promise to do something down the line.
You just need to keep in mind they have a track record on this where they just lie to get what they want.

Good plan, there's one round here buried in a hedge that I've always fancied transplanting to my garden...

Good to see these on the road. In Nottingham they give away pavement space for eBike and eScooter parking, which I think is doubly bad. First pavement space is precious and very limited, second it sends a message that this transport is ok on pavements, when it isn't.

Just had my sister-in-law talk to me about seeing this on Sunday, and how this is relatable.
