Being able to walk completely free of backpacks etc., feels great, but practicality means they are mostly always required. As well as car keys etc. I need lots of water when hiking, which unfortunately weights quite a bit.

I walked the length of Cofete beach previously. Didn't find it too tiring. Kept on the firmer sand at waters edge. But good to know the return walk does not take too long. Thanks.

Ah, that is exactly where I was. Not having any knowledge of the area other than a map that shows a step decent I wasn't going to risk it. But maybe next time I could walk down and try to get to Cofete and get the bus back.
