Thatcher’s economics also increased wealth inequality - like with many other western governments that subscribed to neoliberalism. When wealth shifts the beneficiaries buy assets such as real estate.
Supply & Demand.
It’s understandable why other western economies are also seeing housing crises

The moment he realised he’d been played - and by his good friend Bibi!
How will Trump get even now?
Maybe he’ll cut Bibi out of his share of the Gaza real estate timeshare franchise …

It kind of makes sense, until we get an insurance based healthcare system!

There’s no point in rational debate with a ‘believer’. Facts will rarely change a firmly held belief. Besides I looked through their posting history and it looks like they like to fight for sport. Best not engage. Save your time for more productive engagements

That’s probably the beauty of being ‘around there’. Not much else and possibly not too many people either...
Our one horse town ( minus the horse ) seems to share similar attributes 🇮🇹

I also remember back in those days that many would let their dog out in the morning until dinner time. They’d roam the streets freely and often meet up with other dogs and form a big street pack. I can’t imagine letting my dogs out like that either…
Probably the same kind of ‘today’
anxiety.

Too much time spent down the rabbit hole of social media listening to those self reinforcing loops and echo chambers. I’m sure she never ever suffers from imposter syndrome…

Not to mention the significant quantities of water data centres need for cooling.
Makes you wonder why countries like Canada & Greenland look so attractive to autocrats

Maybe I’m reading too much into this.
1: What’s the message he’s
sending by eating at Hawksmoor (who charge £57 for a steak)
2. We only see the video from the time of the invitation to leave. What happened before?

In the early 1990’s I’d navigate the length and breadth of the 🇬🇧 exclusively with a Little Chef sponsored AA road map with all restaurants listed.
I went from 12st - 15st over 4 years. It maybe thanks to Sat Nav I am now a leaner 80kg!
It could also be that Sat Nav caused Little Chef’s demise

Rhetorical question: So who is the enemy?

It’s a new paradigm alright.
I sense we’ll all have to adapt as it’s highly unlikely that things will go back to the way they were. They rarely do. Hopefully, with the time we have left we can help shape a positive new normal.

Thank you. I’ve been using the ellipsis incorrectly forever. Your post encouraged me to research and learn.
Meanwhile, Liz is unwell. I think she is being performative in an attempt to remain relevant. I don’t think her ego allows her to consider her irrelevance.

I genuinely think she is unwell - within a short period of time she’s lost everything, a career she worked all her adult life for and that must have shattered the ego she spent a lifetime protecting meanwhile I don’t think anyone close to her is interested in her wellbeing.
She needs help
