I love peppermint tea when I need to calm down. Especially after a rough day heart wise.

I’ve never made a salve (still learning when I have time); however, maybe coconut oil would be a good carrier oil to use? You can get a tub of it at a grocery store for about $10 USD where I live.

Actually this is super funny because I pulled the four of swords today and the depiction is Fenrir tied up waiting for Ragnarok.

I plan to listen and heed the advice given. My next thing on the #WitchyToDoList is to finish a few books I’m reading currently. What’s everyone else up to?

The way I understood the check in was that I’m currently paused. I’m new and in a training period so now is the time to listen to my subconscious and observe those around me. Listen to myself and learn. And my familiar said something similar too. Wait, observe, and heed my own counsel. 🧵

Aaron Mankhe wrote a book? I used to listen to his podcasts all the time! I definitely need to check it out!

And, as someone who doesn’t have a background with ecological sciences, I was wondering if anyone in #WriterSky #HistorySky #EcologySky #WitchSky and/or #PaganSky have any good books or videos for the lay-woman explaining the #NewJerseyPineBarrens from any angle. Thanks!

My mom places her incense sticks in an unscented candle or a candle she doesn’t like the smell of that was gifted to her. Stabs the sticks through the wax and then lights the incense.

I take a bit of a break. Usually, I play Pokemon, I read books, and I try to use it as a time to kinda relax. Sometimes you just need that recharge time. Then I start using tea magick when I feel okay enough to start again and go from there.

Today is my last day, and I feel a bit bittersweet. The upcoming week I will be finishing off my onboarding process for my new full time job which will be closer to home. I’ll rest for the weekend though, see an old friend, hang out with my boyfriend.

Place your hands above your head and take controlled, deep breaths. If that doesn’t work, peppermint tea helps calm the nervous system which will help bring a high heart rate down a little bit.

That’s so sweet! There are a few crows I want to make friends with behind a Wendy’s but I haven’t seen them in a while.

Oh no! It’s an Introductory book into Fairy Craft written by Morgan Daimler, and she mentions the maple as sacred to the Good Neighbors in America. It’s honestly a short almost throw away line about why Maple Syrup is an okay substitute to Honey if needed.

Cool! I know Morgan Daimler’s introductory book on fairy witchcraft mentions maples being sacred to the Gentry in America and that’s when I noticed two of the three saplings.

So my friends and I believe that I have three (possibly black-sugar) maple saplings growing around my house, any infodump you can do for them?

Yeah, I think they wanted to see us. My dad and I haven’t been able to visit since their funerals.

My great-grandparents died within a year of one another. Yesterday, while out having lunch after my sister’s graduation, a man who looked exactly like my great grandfather sat behind us. We went to visit them in the cemetery right after because it was so uncanny.

I’m pretty sure there’s a Brownie living in my house. Once I was looking for my dog’s collar before I ran errands, and the house wouldn’t give me the collar until I ran up and down the stairs four times. Then it magically appeared on the island which I checked four times previously.

Relatable! I started telling a ghost at my part time job that he can’t throw fits and send bread flying because no one can pay attention to him 24/7. I think he gets it, less bread has been flying off the shelves.

I think coffee. As I’ve gotten older, and worked with it in ebbs and flows, it comes across as very grouchy. Definitely not a morning ally, so I may let it have a break since this coming week I’m off from my full time job.
