Not really though, look back at their voting records when it comes to increased VA funding, and making sure vets are compensated for being exposed to toxic substances leading to lifelong health issues and/or death. They just said they cared, and used veterans as photo props.

Fair, but they have also managed to vote yea in favor of several of his extremely unqualified cabinet picks like puppy killer Kristi Noem, so it's not as if they are doing nothing.

I come from a military family and I am shocked that the military hasn't responded, basically at all. I always thought when our military took the oath of office to protect and defend the constitution from both foreign and domestic threats it meant something, but apparently not.

I think they are too busy confirming his wildly unqualified cabinet picks, but I'm sure some sternly worded emails are being written, along with mass texts begging progressives to send them money to resist Trump.

I'm just worried going forward our elections will be like Russia's. Unfortunately the Democratic FA by not immediately insisting the Justice Department investigate and prosecute Trump for his insurrection, now the rest of us get to suffer and FO if we are now living in a dictatorship.

How else is the Trump administration going to lower prices? Life in prison + the 13th amendment = slave labor for farms and factories. So yeah, they are following the Nazi playbook without (maybe) the genocide part.

They keep voting to confirm is wildly unqualified candidates, so I would say that it's unlikely the Dems will do their part. The next 2 years will likely be the Dems trying to figure out how to go even farther to the right to attract GOP voters, they have learned nothing.

This is where I am at too, they are either wildly incompetent or complicit, and after losing to Trump TWICE, can no longer be considered a viable political party. Not that it matters as our elections going forward will likely be similar to Russia's "elections".

Nothing, they failed miserably by not aggressively prosecuting him for starting an insurrection immediately, instead of dragging their feet as long as possible in the hopes that it would help them win the next election.

Don't forget the hate for the less than 1% of the nation who identify as trans-gender. Making their already difficult existence a living hell was also a strong motivation for his voters.
