I move that we oust ketchup (or its trashy cousin, “catsup”) and formally adopt the Chocolate frosting in its place. There can be only so many favored condiments, afterall.

Along these same lines, someone I know used to work with an older lady that apparently fell out of Elizabethan England, as she apparently would curse people by saying, I quoteth: “Fie and a pox on him!”

That’s one helluva set of fines from the FCC if this was radio… oh wait, does the FCC do that anymore under this administration?

Lost the election why, Elon? Say more about what you did, and spare no details… we’re all waiting to receive your genius…

Is treason reserved for times of war? I suppose he could argue that supposed incursion at the Southern Border a war of sorts…

Please send video clips and a Venmo account for us to fund this madness. I’m here for all of it.

This is the persistant challenge in communicating the value of any security (cybersecurity, physical security, etc.) - it’s hard to know the number of events you deterred when doing so does not create a signal.

So pretty and scerene. Thank you for sharing!

Wait until you take that last session of the last class. It will hit you more than you may imagine.

Damn, that cabin must smell horribly.

That’s a meaningful bit of help. Hope you get a chance to catch your breath. 🙏🏻

To do what, precisely? Use military force to… do what? Use force against “them”, however we define “them”? I am admittedly ignorant on this, but wouldn’t that violate the Posse Comitatus Act (using the US Military against its own people to enforce policy)?

They want to escalate things to the Supreme Court.

But if we follow that thought down a few generations we’ll get to a place where multiple AI frameworks just derive and learn from exclusively AI-generated if humans aren’t creating new novel inputs to keep feeding it. I can envision generational decay like old cassette tapes copied from each other.

It is hard, that’s not a lie or fiction. It is the harsh reality though. This can be a place to voice that frustration and you’re engaging it that was successfully. When you’re ready to stand back up, metaphorically, and keep pushing, folks will be here to encourage you.

Work to improve the things under your control. For those things out of your control, give yourself time to feel grief about them, because your feelings are real and valid. When that due time is done, I refer to the best fortune cookie I ever got: “The best cure for grief is motion.”

@sachacoward.bsky.social Now the question is who would initiate this snog? Clearly Gahlinda would, in my opinion…

I support this. At the very least a life-affirming quick full-mouth kiss after “I hope you’re happy my fraayyyynd” **peck**, right?

Maybe we call the manmade stuff “efil” and see where society goes with that

Well, it seems to me that keeping people alive and generating income would, oh, I dunno… increase the tax pool vs. letting it shrink through preventable death. So even if the dark goal of taxing people more should inherently prioritize keeping them healthy too.

Innit funny how “two teas” and “to tease” sound the same?!

But the choice is still mine not to watch game videos. If I’m not watching them the content can’t come my way, that’s all I’m saying.

Yeah it is an odd hobby! Maybe it’s that need to be the first to show it on video or show their achievement just to collect the likes and maybe monetize it. Glad you don’t let it ruin your experience!
comment in response to post
That threat about spoilers seems easy to mitigate - stop watching videos about the game. I know I watch a vid sometimes to see fight tactics but have to stop before it spoils the outcome of the fight.

100% agree with you on this.

Hmmm… is this to imply that rural America thinks authoritarianism is going to serve rural America’s needs? I think we’re bound to see some severe disappointment and gobsmacked voters as we spin into this next 4 years.

Yeah but remember how impossible or silly it sounded when people were saying we would watch movies directly over the internet? And look where that foolishness ended up… ;-)

But the bots get trained by people. They don’t just magically show up with a world view and shite rhetoric out of thin air. Those folk that train those digital dogs are also wack. Wiggidy-wack.

It has been a toxic cesspool since, oh… 2015 or so. Can confirm, has gotten far worse after AI models started to gain traction… guess why? Bet you sink it in one.

I totally agree with you. Anybody that thinks public service = private profit are morally bankrupt chodes.

Suppose that’s true. But capitalism is the beast that it is no? We’re demanding people do the noble thing while the rest of the world is making capitalist decisions. Hard to hold people to the higher standard when the rest of the world only demands money. All of that said - I don’t disagree with U

The gall to try and sue advertisers for pulling ad revenue after you told them to GFY… if that doesn’t flag the entitlement level, nothing ever could.

“But how can I manipulate the masses and monetize this platform in the stupidest ways if you all keep leaving?! Not fair” - that’s all I hear from it too. Wonder how monetized the platform will remain when it’s 98% bots.
