This guy once basically accused a high school classmate of mine of criminally trying to influence the city council election because volunteered with an opponent's campaign while also just so happening to be on the debate team that hosted an informal debate.

Much of this stuff can be counterintuitive, and you have to really understand the literature in order to be able to explain it in a way that makes sense to people. And I just don't think people got that from this interview
