My parents aren't 80 their oldest siblings are. They voted for Carter. They're Black. Whites...boomers included have been wiping their asses w/their own programs whenever it LOOKS like more than 2 Black people benefit. Then they easily get nonblacks to do the same, just enough to screw us ALL over.

Trump did this. Don’t mince words. Trump caused the murder of Rep. Melissa Hortman. Trump is a murderer.

Yeah probably. Tbh the reason besides racism that I never "took" to country music was also because it's been mediocre since Elvis was marketed to be the "big star" he was. I'm a trained musician. Most of it to me is lazy and unentertaining.

"TSU" began during that period as stated. Here is a picture of George Hughes, a lynching victim during the time of Jim Crow. That is him, smoldering in the tree after actions by white people in Texas who were in favor of segregation. He never got a fair trial for any accusation.

At the time of its creation, Jim Crow was prevalent in the US. Jim Crow was a legal system designed to permit & allow violent white people to maintain a social order through rape, murder, intimidation & even economic terrorism. Many people who lived through Jim Crow recall the violence they endured.

There have been many white people who have attended Texas Southern University and are now alumni & even been employed there. Unlike institutions that legally barred Black people from attending while Black people were barred from entering libraries, "TSU" doesn't bar anyone from giving or attending.

It's a state institution. It was created through legal segregation by mostly white legislatures in the State of Texas less than 100 years after enslaved people were freed after a war aimed at keeping them enslaved, raped, murdered w/impunity & constantly targeted even now by racist propaganda.

I'm blessed. I've been through some hard shit. But my parents are A-1 even in their mistakes. I wish I could've NOT gone through the grade school bullying I experienced. What child should ever contemplate suicide as a KID? But still, I'm blessed.

Any and all conservative leaning and thought.

Idk. Some oppression takes place because of so many competing ideas, apathy, criminality, scheming. How far can humans be trusted because life itself is a violent effort to be a living being in a universe of hostile physics to its very existence?

"No matter where you fall politically"...same yt nonsense to really say "I'm yt. I'm not saying I won't still be against any equality. I'm harmless."

Black people have always been socially conservative largely because of white washed Christianity.

Very tough here. They both arrived at "on the one" around the same time. They both expanded funk from James Brown into literally every other genre possible. I'm a Texan so I'll say Sly first, Parliament 2nd. My dad would say Parliament first...
