Americans don't want to perform farm work even when farmers do offer a decent wage. Republicans in my state asked ICE to leave ag alone. JBS (meatpacking plant) has/had a recruitment program for Haitians, but they might need to find different people to exploit thanks to the travel ban.

Farmers in Florida are already plowing over tomatoes because farmers can't afford to pick them thanks to labor costs and tariffs.

JBS is notorious for hiring undocumented workers, but I have yet to hear about the owners facing prison time.

I don't expect much from police, but to see them act this way on behalf of the party behind the insurrectionists who harmed their colleagues is very telling.

I agree. I don't see how his speech would fall under unprotected speech. If we go by the government's logic, we need to deport Musk because his rhetoric has proven to have adverse foreign policy consequences.

You keep confusing separate issues. The judge said he was removable. The government hasn't actually proved that he has committed a crime. They want to deport him on the grounds that his rhetoric and actions could have "potentially serious adverse foreign policy consequences.”

He hasn't been deported, though. They're still having hearings. That's why we're commenting. Even if he is deported, it doesn't defeat the fact that you're conflating issues when you say that he came here illegally.

MAGA's complaints about Weiser are making me even more inclined to vote for him for governor. I want a governor who respects the Constitution and understands how the government and laws work. I want a governor who will go to bat for me and Weiser has done that a lot in the last 100 days.
