Putin. Netanyahu. And Stephen Miller. Sensing that Trump has a “type”. Men he just can’t say no to.

Wasn’t he a veteran on his way to his VA appointment, that can take months to obtain and is cancelled if you are late? Detained him for 2 hours. US citizen.

The difference is that Trump now has a fully functioning bribery mechanism in place. He can shake down each industry one by one, then reverse himself once payment is received.

The “coward caucus”

Very true. It’s all Charles Bronson era, possibly up to the first Die Hard movie. The Chinese today are the same Japanese who tried to take over America.

FDR came from the upper crust and had status to stand up to them for the people. Nixon to China. Maybe we need a billionaire to stand up to the billionaires FOR THE SAKE OF ALL OF US.

“The old Donald Trump would have fired ALL these idiots the next day!” Make that the message.

We need constant push back. Not feeling that “Win the Era” has any of the energy or messaging to do that. Rare swing and a miss.

Only FDR could take on the old money interests and save the country during the Depression. Today, only a billionaire can take on the billionaires who want to strip mine the USA.

I’m pretty sure that this means that tomorrow’s op-ed page will be all-in for trans rights & gay marriage and against tariffs and regulatory capture by oligarchs with anti-competitive interests being appointed to government positions, right?

Serious question, how are they doing this? Do they walk in and ask at reception where the computers are? Is there no security, no barriers?

As soon as this new Trump administration started to form I was struck by the “real” problem with DEI. Not that it disadvantages better hires. It highlights that you should look wider than hiring your son-in-law’s unqualified felon father for a job.

How and when did Civics drop out of the curriculum? Was it like cursive, or new math? Was it the ban books crowd, or budget cuts? How long was Civics a standalone thing? I’d say we need it back.

DEI is a direct threat to IHG ( I havva guy) and nepotism in general. That’s it. Look at Trump’s cabinet and ambassadors. A case study in unqualified hires, without diversity.

I’m much more of a tactile learner and prefer making plaster molds from actual cadavers.

My goodness, I hope Musk is driven to create his own Freedompedia, with only free-thinking editors. All the best knowledge. It’d be a hoot.

Just now, scrolling through interesting posts on our current situation, I thought, “We need Mark Cuban’s input and a vision that is economically bold and socially aware.” FDR came from wealth and knew how to challenge the wealthy.

I still have Twitter PTSD. So strange to tune in here and just find interesting posts and relevant comments.

I’m in my first 10 minutes on the app after groaning through the decline and putrification of that former. Genuinely can feel the fresh air.
