1/4 What's going on in the pharmacy? Oct 30th, 31st, and Nov 1st a national pharmacy walkout is being planned for many retail pharmacies in the US. Check with your pharmacist to see if they are participating and plan accordingly.

Also if you read anything that says there is a pharmacist shortage that is 1000% not true. There is only a shortage of pharmacists that want to work in those conditions. There is actually an excess of pharmacists from all the pharmacy schools that opened in the last ten years.

FYI for those that fill at Walgreens: Oct 9, 10, 11 your pharmacy may be closed. I’m not sure how widespread the Walgreens walkout is but also keep in mind the national walkout for all retail pharmacies (Walgreens, cvs, grocery stores, etc.) is scheduled for Oct 30, 31, Nov 1 so plan accordingly

Ordered a Midnight Painkiller sight unseen last night at the improv show. These were the ingredients. Nutmeg??? Green tea?? Alcoholic kombucha 6%? Also I hate pineapple and coconut flavors 😆. With great misgiving, I tried my mystery beverage and it was actually good! 👍 try new things!

The lowest raise I received as a retail pharmacist works out to be a ~ 0.7% raise. Cost of living has increases approximately 5-6% per year, so in effect I received an equivalent DECREASE in salary of 5.3% even though it was a “raise”. “You did a fantastic job this year! Let’s pay you less!”

Things I don’t recommend #1: driving cross-country in the middle of summer in a car which theoretically has A/C, but you realize part-way through it’s just blowing ambient temperature air and the ambient temperature is 95+ degrees. 🥵
