Wedged between a streetlight, my house lights and steadily fuller Moon @ 86% Pic 1 is heavily polluted but with a bit of maneuvering and twiddling Pic 2 is better. On the Nikkor-S F/1.4 50mm The Southern Cross and the Carina Nebula seen better in the Crops (Pic 3&4).

I for one detest the idea of Scott Morrison receiving ANY award as his involvement in Australia was NOT OF SERVICE to it's people and it can be easily argued his actions caused both harm and death to many citizens from the heartless policies he enacted. chng.it/fMkVkVX56W

Cally totally at ease on the raised legs of my recliner. Still feral. 3 of her kits were in for dinner earlier and Mixy sat up with my wife for yummies and accepted a pat. ... will be easier to tame the others now (and home them).

Tonight's Moon is at 79% illuminated and is likely to knock put most of my other targets for a few days with it's brightness. Still, cloudless night and a new open aperture F/1.4 50mm Nikkor lens mounted to my Sony camera I just gotta try when it gets darker.

Moon still shining well tonight ... Nikon P610.

This evening's 70.5% Moon at speeds of 1/90th second to 1/250th second on the Nikon P610. The last one I stood on a chair to get closer. I love the Moon in these phases as the terminator line shows up the shadows in the craters best.
