Many of us who have been under the radar have been allowed to be diagnosed now that we are "safer".
We have been able to find each other in the world. We have been allowed to procreate.
What "causes" autism. ME. The problem is ME. My Dad also had something to do with it.

I feel kinda shitty whining about my own DEI problems when people are being uprooted from their lives because we think there is something special about our lines on the map.
Our trans service members who fight for our country are being kicked out.
Indiginous people are being detained.

My wife LOVES thanksgiving and all the food.
So we figured out a solution.
For 3 years now, we have decided to do "food we are thankful for".
We each choose a food we love. We make that food. We serve it buffet style. We share it with our family who can choose to eat it, or not.

My relatives never seemed to remember that I in fact don't have anything to eat. Most of the time I brought a backup frozen pizza with me.
They constantly chastised my parents for "letting me get away with it".
