Financial firms have very little resources and expertise to challenge bankruptcy discharges; it's just not worth their time if Joe Sixpack gets rid of $10k in credit card debt.
Millions of people each discharging $10k would overwhelm them immediately while turning their entire portolios to junk.

There are a number of other provisions that have also in some cases appear to give massive power to the executive branch. It’s a literal fascist power being passed in the dead of night. Millions of Americans are going to wake up tomorrow with less rights than they had today.

Since the House Energy and Commerce Committee reported out its bill last Wednesday, there have been two sets of language revisions that have made the #Medicaid cuts even more draconian, not less. So the coverage losses and damaging impact will certainly be greater and take effect sooner (9/x)
