We can add crossword puzzles to the list of absolutely everything they're shoehorning AI into. Guess I'm skipping it today.

Got blocked within 5 seconds for this. I don't think I was even being rude, it's a pretty clearly defined and well understood term. Didn't even get an argument, it's just "no facts allowed that I don't like!" with these guys.

We need to build some real social stigma around being afraid of cities. You don't have to like them or live there, but a politics built this strongly around watching TV and going "ewww" is embarrassing, and people should be embarrassed by it. It's like "fear of werewolves" being your top issue.

The real intelligence test is realizing MENSA is a scam.

This is the only Big Beautiful Bill I recognize

I've never watched Joe Rogan, but my impression has been that he was some kind of subversive iconoclast. But now finally having seen a little stuff from him it seems like his beliefs actually line up with the status quo but are presented in a way that adopts the aesthetics of being counterculture.

When people think about what makes someone healthy, they usually only consider diet and exercise, but there's a third thing which often gets overlooked, which is SLEEP! I hope one day sleep will be considered just as important and come up with the other two in discussions about health and wellness.

It just occurred to me, I don't think I've ever had a credit card naturally reach it's expiration date. They've all had to be replaced at some point due to identity theft.

one thing that sucks about being american rn is that the helplessness you feel is probably at least in part a product of how much you've been conditioned to believe in the supreme value of individual acts when collective action is our only way out of all of this

Me: This book looks interesting. Amazon: Would you like to look at a blank page, the dedication, and the copyright information?

"Shareholder value" and "customer value" are inversely proportional.

If you suggest putting homeless people in publicly funded housing, people will act like you're an insane radical, but if you say they should be put into a publicly funded prison they'll cheer you on. I think people might just be assholes.
