Why does this guy always act like things that happened out in the open for everyone to see are some sort of secret that needs to be exposed?

Definitely not good! But it would be some bullshit if the rule is "copyright laws only apply to poor people, not corporations." It would be great if we got rid of copyright while also ensuring that artists are able to live a comfortable life doing what they love.

They tell us that it's here to stay because we can't put the toothpaste back in the tube, while ignoring the fact that running it requires wealthy people to be constantly setting unfathomable amounts of money on fire, because it's not anywhere close to being profitable.

Eh? "Establishment" refers to the long established dominant group, which in the context of the Democratic party is currently center to center-left politicians. It doesn't mean "anyone who wins an election". Literally nobody uses it that way.

They tell us capitalism is just human nature, but if that was true they wouldn't need to spend so much effort and resources to convince us of it.

There's one that "predicts" a person's politics based on a picture and it basically just detects if it's a picture white person or not.

One time I got a fundraising text message from a Democrat on the other side of the country who literally didn't even include their name! They basically just said "I'm a Democrat running for office. MONEY PLEASE!"

It's been maybe the most pathetic, ineffective attempt to gaslight people I've ever witnessed.

The only difference I see is it's wealthy powerful people doing it for personal profit, vs broke teenagers who wanted to listen to some songs they liked. By their own admission here they admit they don't own the rights to copy this data, i.e. a copyright violation, and they're doing it anyway.

When teenagers were downloading Metallica albums back in 2000 they were absolutely calling it theft.

How do you throw millions of dollars at a beloved franchise and fuck it up this badly? Did nobody working on it give a shit?

I came close to straight up bailing on the game entirely. If it happened earlier in the game before I got invested I would have definitely stopped right then and there.

When the AI bubble bursts, don't let them pretend like nobody saw it coming. There are an abundance of warning signs.

Is it the part where he's a robot that canonically transforms into a human who is the main character of Lode Runner?

I used to work as a parking lot attendant at Sam's Club and they made it clear we would be fired if we accepted tips from customers, no matter how small, because they had a "no gifts" policy for the entire company.
