This was a proper giant amongst the dinky 2cy male islandicas, proper, gangly, stilt-like & full of striking L3 plumage giveaways. So distinctive & a real buzz to see ~ pretty sure it's my latest May adult here. Really should be on the Washes, so why is it here? Too dry? #NorfolkBirding #cleybirds

Black-billed Capercaillie was the highlight, but there were plenty of other birds around the campsite including this Pied Flycatcher which is quite rare in Mongolia I think.

Was it bathing? Saw this Great White Egret doing the same at Caerlaverock the other day. Looked most odd!
