Minimum wage, 40 hr weeks, safe conditions, no child labor, these were concessions to quell an uprising. But even the smartest man we know agreed. Anyway, don't hold hope on America's democracy. We don't have one right now.

You have to remember, FDR is the farthest left America ever got. And I'm FDRs own words from his journals he stated he saved capitalism. Because he saw what happened in 1917 in Russia when the working class took it's county back.

I'm working on trying to built a chapter in my city for socialist/communist activity so we can start to built mutual aid networks, tenant unions, and hopefully some small labor unions to start.

Biden breaking up the rail road strike did it pushed me over. Then I started to actually read Marx. Once you realize this shit had been going on in the US since it's inception you can't look at it any other way. But that doesn't mean there not things you can still do.

No. America is an capitalist country. Democrats are the left wing of capitalist. Republicans are the right wing. While the nonsense here would be no doubt lesser, Kamala would do nothing different to help the working class. I used to be a blue no matter who dem for 20yrs.

Still Doing Its Job
Police protect property. Courts defend landlords. Billionaires write laws. If the Constitution seems to serve the rich — that’s because it does. It’s doing exactly what it was built to do.

Fear of Rebellion
Shays’ Rebellion terrified the elites. Poor farmers rising up against debt? That’s why the new Constitution empowered the government to crush insurrections. Class war was always part of the plan.

Enslavement Was Baked In
The Constitution counted enslaved people as 3/5ths of a person and guaranteed their return to “owners.” Private property wasn’t just land — it was people. Capitalism and slavery were co-authors.
We still enslave people, in prisons and with labor.

Property Over People
The Constitution doesn’t promise you a living wage. But it protects your boss’s land, factories, and capital investments. This isn’t a glitch. This is what the Founders meant by freedom.

The System Isn’t Broken
The Senate gives rich rural states outsized power. The Electoral College blocks direct democracy. That’s not a flaw — that’s the design. The Constitution protects wealth from the will of the people.

What did they protect first?
They didn’t guarantee food, housing, or healthcare. But they did guarantee this: “private property shall not be taken... without just compensation.” That’s in the 5th Amendment. Capital came first.

You do realize the Constitution was written by capitalists.
They are defending exactly what they are told to do.
It was never made to protect us you me anybody of the working class. It can't be any clearer. It literally says in the Constitution you have the right to private property.

@socialismforall.bsky.social I'm also listening to this at the moment and I was wondering is there any texts that are from anarchist that you would read? Maybe I'm too spoiled from the analytical aspect of Marx and Engel but like I guess I want to understand why. youtu.be/m_5wE2RXJUQ?...

And when there is racism it's just a convenient tool to use later. But that's later on That's after That's century of exploitation and colonization then they can use the racism for the on-site capitalism fascism.

Wait till they find out Marx backed labor unions like those in social democracies *and* pushed for revolution. That should clear things up—alleviating suffering wasn’t a contradiction, it was the point.

Ask because this format is really great for me to get the initial start but it also helps me to have that structure of a test-like thing that I can just keep hammering with random questions.

Cool I've noticed you have this broken up into like questions almost for my own personal use I'm going to try and split those out onto a Google form so I can practice answering them and kind of commit them to me.
After I get those completed would you want them?

My initial reaction was unduly dismissive and predicated on an assumption of bad faith and letting my experience of other platforms blind my judgement. Embarrassingly, I find myself uncertain of your intended perspective, comrade. That was a disgusting reply on my part and I am sorry. 😞

And this is just the surface The tip of the iceberg of things that people really need to be careful about when they are trying to organize.

It's important to know who sells that VPN what's the backers of it what is their privacy policy.
Will they hand over data just because they're asked?
Trick question.
Do they even keep data in the first place?
Do they have a no log policy?
comment in response to
post
It's really about understanding what your data is being used for, why it's being used, what tools you can obtain that protect and keep you anonymous until you don't want to be.
VPNs for example It's not just good enough to have a VPN.

Intelligence encounter intelligence part 3 or a big corporation hires people to infiltrate movements against their company.
So what is to be done?
comment in response to
post
Intelligence and counterintelligence part 2 we've seen this in action on lots of different scales. The cheater in magic the gathering they're covertly trying to go against the system for personal gain. An undercover FBI agent brings down a drug cartel.
comment in response to
post
Intelligence and counterintelligence - like I said above there's a reason governments have these tools It's to keep people out but to find attempts at trying to stop it The same works for us.
When we organize. You probably seen.

Tactical action part 6 It's just like Commander when you're trying to play politics with somebody at the table you obviously don't want some people to know what's going on but maybe some people you do think of the ways of how you try to estimate that information The logic is the same.
comment in response to
post
Tactical action part 5 they'll tell you what we're don't want any lawsuits we're trying to protect people here.
Take unions for example there's a reason why Walmart is so good at breaking up unions because people generally speaking are not great about communicating about that in a protected manner
comment in response to
post
Tactical action part 4 but that's a fallacy there are a lot of entities out there who don't like the idea of people organizing food banks for example. Why do you think so many local governments require permits or police come in and destroy food. Sure they'll tell you it's to keep people healthy.
comment in response to
post
Tactical action part 3 now regardless of what we think about how those countries implemented that that doesn't really matter for this discussion but the point is the same logic applies for leftist organizing. We've been conditioned to believe that as long as we're not doing anything wrong it's good.
