I'm just one of those herp nerds that likes to know what everything is so I can safely pick up snakes (and pay the stinky price) I spend too much time in snake ID groups but it's a handy skill!
comment in response to post
You did everything right though! If you don't know what it is 100% treat it like it's venomous!
comment in response to post
Pretty much all snakes will flatten their heads to look bigger if they feel threatened! It gives them a similar look to a viper with venom glands.

I think he might actually be a non venomous water snake (Nerodia sp) the copperhead has Hershey kiss shaped markings that are wider at the base and narrower at the top. Water Snakes have more even stripes.

You got this Cuips! Just think about all the smut and emotional arc resolutions you get to write when you're done!

I love cyclical.

Gorgeous rat snake! If you use hardware cloth on any gaps and instead of chicken wire, you should be able to keep him out, in the meantime if you have to use any fake eggs for broody hens make sure to glue them down to prevent snakes from eating them by mistake.

You're in luck, I love it when Eddie is dumb and Steve loves him.

Oooooh dear. That would have certainly been illuminating for them.

Gallbladder issues and epilepsy are both medical issues that can kill you. Autism is how your brain works and processes information. It's like having a different operating system than everyone else. Being autistic is a part of you in a very different way than a medical issue is.
comment in response to post
Being autistic is part of your foundational sense of self. If you took away my autism I would be a fundamentally different person because it influences things like my personality and how I think. If you got rid of someone's epilepsy they'd be the same person without seizures.

No, but the majority of people already know that having red hair isn't a disease. You can also say redhead or ginger though. Ultimately autistic vs person with autism is a personal choice but most in the community prefer autistic because it incorporates autism as part of the person.

Yes yes to both!

Omg these are soooo cool! <3

Damn Cuips, this is some of your best work. Look at you getting all artsy with it too! Loved it!

She was part of the SPN fandom, I fear.
comment in response to post
Wait... Is that real?

I've watched it just to understand what's going on. It's cute and dumb, but really not my thing. Great background show when I just need noise though. It's just not particularly engaging.
comment in response to post
People really, really don't understand animals at all. Not nuanced and fascinating but black and white, good and bad.

I'm old.
comment in response to post
This is exactly how I treat BRL.

He's just so easy to torment, he'll even do it to himself if you give him like 5 seconds.

I can't think of any actor that's better at wet cats. Joey Batey is close though.

Fucking fiiiiinally. They earned this. <3

Oh no. One of *those.* Honestly they are some of the most insufferable people on the planet I'm so sorry. 😭
comment in response to post
Ok so was amused until the autistic characters should purr thing and now I'm just mad. Honestly I think you should make her squirm if she says that shit out loud.
comment in response to post
I think in many ways it's much harder to make a game fun than it is to make a game's story objectively good, and it's very rare that you have both at once.
comment in response to post
That *is* so beautiful! Brains are just the best/worst.
comment in response to post
Your brain might be done getting where it needs to be but you as a person still have so much growing to do. I'm still learning, unlearning and maturing at almost 40. It should never stop, I hope I am still learning and maturing when I'm dying.
comment in response to post
I mean... I'll keep reading that too. <3

Srsly though you're really showing off your skills with this fic. The setup and payoff, the tension, the delicious level of detail. I hope you get to write for a living if that's what you desire because I really think you've got a fantastic talent. I would buy your book.

Fandom, do better.
comment in response to post
How disappointing. :/
comment in response to post
Oh shit, that must be contagious because I can't get it out of my head either.
comment in response to post
That's some fucking bullshit.
comment in response to post
Wtfffff. There is nothing AI can do that like research and being an artist can't do. Like can you just write facts in autistic voice and say you did? 😭 wildly irresponsible assignment.
comment in response to post
I'm so excited for you! I didn't know this all happens so fast! I guess hair just takes a lil time to grow!
comment in response to post
Lion, it gives you much better protection than donut. Where is the incision going to be? You can probably get away with donut if it's somewhere hard to get to like on his back but if it's a trickier spot like a foot you may still need the classic cone.
comment in response to post
Oh that is the confuzzled face of a creature that has instincts that tell him he's about to die but his learning history says different. You blue screened your bunny. Lmao <3
comment in response to post
That is the concerned face of a distinguished gentleman that may or may not be about to be eaten by a large predator but he has accepted his fate.
comment in response to post
Despite not having as much in the way of facial expressions as dogs do, Buns are still highly expressive little guys. "Oh..... Oh no I am up."
comment in response to post
Whoooooo!!!

Omg This is so sweet!! Having read it, I agree with her!
comment in response to post
Please tell me she's also in your manifesto class.
comment in response to post
What douchebags!
comment in response to post
I would! But there's no rush. The last thing I want to do is wait longer for BRL 12.
comment in response to post
You make me want to read your original stuff!
