Minneapolis isn't perfect, but it's a very nice place to live. More people should move here so we can have more density and more nice things.

Wanna see something cool? At the Grammy's in 1976, Ella Fitzgerald and Mel Torme explained what jazz is. The result? The crowd losing its mind. 🔥

I dream of a day when drivers, faced with this choice: 1. park on the other side of the street 2. use the alley 2. block car traffic for 20 secs 3. or illegally & unsafely drive in the bike lane .... will not do this. People on 🚲/🛴/👨‍🦼 deserve safety & comfort on their trips, too.

Imagine if when we invaded Iraq, three years in we only took a sliver of the country at the cost of 800,000 men. Would the conventional wisdom be that we are winning? No? Then why do some think Russia is?

What if we 👉🏻👈🏻 lived in homes 🫢 and they touched 😳.

😮

These children were robbed of their childhood and I don’t know what it would take to show them that life could be different

More in No, Other People: New poll: “America would be better off if more people worked in manufacturing.” • 80% of Americans agree • 20% disagree “I would be better off if I worked in a factory.” • 25% of Americans agree • 73% disagree • 2% currently work in a factory

Instead of deporting undocumented, tax-paying immigrants by using the IRS, why not create a legal path to status for them? They paid over $96 billion in taxes in 2022 alone. With a real path to legal status and without ICE breathing down their necks, they would contribute even more.

Absolutely incredible turn out at MN State Capitol! #HandsOff

turns out the United States was an incredible moneymaking engine that ran on wokeness

80% of Minnesotans agree: We don’t have enough homes & the #MNleg should fix it. But city interest groups are using taxpayer $ to prevent that, which means higher rents & fewer opportunities. We demand a future where we can choose where to live. Where every city has thriving neighborhoods.

Jeffrey Goldberg thinking he was being pranked and then realizing he was actually just in the war plans group chat is such a good microcosm of how it feels to be alive right now, everything seems fake until you realize it’s actually real and incredibly stupid

I was grateful to sit down with community leaders at the Ukrainian American Community Center in Minneapolis to reaffirm my support for our Ukrainian refugees and Ukraine as Putin’s war of aggression continues. 🇺🇦 Trump’s decision to put innocent lives into limbo is cowardly and it’s unamerican.

(1/3) It needs repeating: in 1994, Ukraine was persuaded to give up its nuclear weapons to Russia in return for the US, the UK, and Russia guaranteeing Ukraine’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.

No Kings, Just Mail. Can’t think of a better slogan.

OKAY NOW DO UNCLE ALBERT / ADMIRAL HALSEY

Friendly reminder: there’s plenty of time left to claim up to $1,750 per child with our nation-leading Child Tax Credit.   Last year, we put over $550 million into the pockets of nearly 225,000 families.   Don’t leave money on the table, Minnesota.

Listen if we all mutate from radiation eventually just please tell your grandchildren that there was once a nation of Ukraine and they were really good at posting

The Legislative Session Has (finally) Begun: Let’s Advocate for More Homes! We can build new homes closer to jobs, transit, and shops that fight climate change by shortening commutes and changing travel modes. https://buff.ly/4jZJe1k #YesToHomes #MNleg
