I am in almost total agreement with Mamdani’s platform, I just strongly suspect he will turn out to be a “presentation over follow-through” type — gifted at retail politics, challenged at transactional management. But I’d rather give that a chance than a serial sexual harasser and wannabe despot!!

At this point my number one political issue is “generational turnover.” It is so screamingly obvious that people want something different, and they barely even care WHAT that difference is, they just want something that feels new. That is the minimum bar all politicians must clear, IMO
