You wouldn't think corrugated cardboard was dangerous, but as someone who used to work at a pizza place, I know better!

Will VoDs be uploaded to Youtube in the normal manner? I do not want to miss any of your shenanigans, but my decrepit flesh requires slumber.

Nightmare dungeon changes sound fun. Some of the new uniques seem questionable. Horadric spell crafting has the potential for some very silly combos.

Surely there must be a more appropriate name for a provider of dice than "dice provider."
Dicemonger? Polyhedronista? Cuberdasher?

I promise you I did notice that one. You and I have clearly been influenced (warped?) by a lot of the same literary sources, so I may have just accepted it as a perfectly normal turn of phrase. It was good character establishment, regardless.

Exquisite!
You really got me with "autopsy bucket." 😂

I think most of us played so much S7 that S8 was always going to be a bit tired and underwhelming no matter what. I'm happy for incremental QOL changes and buffs to my build of choice.

If you Kickstart that, I will fund it.

As a dedicated recluse, I've come to appreciate these kinds of texts. They give me the pleasure of ignoring someone without the baggage of knowing it was a real human being who matters in any way.

And this is why I adblock channels that don't do what you do. An ad break every 3 to 5 minutes is insane, and frankly just as insulting to the creators as it is to the viewers.

The whole Eyrewood setting has been a continual source of inspiration. Thank you, sirs.

I'm charmed by every aspect of Sunderfolk. Art is drop dead gorgeous. Gameplay is elegant. The fact that the NPC dialogue is the GM doing their voices pushes it over the top.

They don't care so much that they just had to tell you, in great detail I'm sure, exactly how much they don't care. So you would know. Because it's so important to be clear that you don't matter. Checks out.

I tried to google that and ended up on a page that says "Whoops. You Just Exploded The Internet." So it can't be all that bad.

Oh, I would be remiss if I didn't mention The Enchanted Forest Chronicles by Patricia C. Wrede. Utterly delightful.

I probably took that in stride along with all the nonchalant cruelty to animals as elements of British humor.

Yeah what? What I mean is that Dumbledore wasn't unambiguously good. He was a manipulator. For him, the ends justified the means. The Weasleys were genuinely caring and compassionate without ulterior motives. The writing isn't the best, but I think that was the intent.

I read them in my early 30's and they were okay, but I didn't love them. I can, however, say that Susan Cooper's 'The Dark is Rising' Sequence holds up.

He was a broken man and the product and perpetrator of generational abuse. What he did right, he did out of guilt and revenge. Dumbledore was also flawed and abusive in his own, subtler ways. The Weasleys were the real examples of goodness.

If you're specifically interested in a young adult series about strange British girls being trained as spies and assassins, I can recommend Gail Carriger's "Finishing School" series. But deeeeefinitely not her other books until they're older.

I posit that he was still bad, although that may not have been the author's intent... which is one of the many things wrong with the series.

On a similar note, I've been on a kick lately with "American Pie" (the Don McLean song). God... was there ever a better song written in the English language? I have my doubts.

The absurdity of that being as big an item in the media as all the other stuff is certainly worth ranting about, if that's how you want to interpret the lyrics.
