Convention season is about to start, just as a new variant of COVID is spreading that people describe as like swallowing razor blades. Socials are going to be full of con pictures. Are we going to see any masks in them? I want to believe y'all care.

Me: Pass the aux cable. Friend: Okay, but you'd better not play numbers station recordings from the Cold War. (Lincolnshire Poacher plays, followed by an English accented woman's voice reading five digit number sequences.)

Poor Opabinia.

My other half and I met on the bird site. We've subtweeted/subskeeted about each other all kinds of times as we refer to our "other half". But you won't see us coming out and saying each other's user names because people online are weird.

Trump's defense of accepting a 400 million luxury jet being "Corruption isn't corruption if you do it in plain sight" is like me thinking I can get away with a bank robbery if I made sure all the cameras were on and gave them a big ol wave as I pistol whipped all the tellers
