Thibs was never going to win a championship with the Knicks. But, like he did with the Bulls, he made his team better than the sum of its parts. In Thibs's last season with the Bulls, they were 50-32 and lost in the 2nd round of the playoffs. The next year, they were 42-40 and missed the playoffs.
