Am pleased when a private company refuses to allow the GOP to dictate to them how to run their Human Resources Dept. Amazing that Republicans believe today that interfering in business policies is what government is for?

Amazing! The GOP used to be AGAINST meddling in businesses. Now Trump’s EO invades HR policies of private companies like they can’t make employment decisions and run their own show? Curiouser and curiouser? What has happened to our Republicans?

What truth do you know, Cory Booker? You voted to make a pardoned felon, Kurshner, Ambassador to France, approving further Trump corruption and grift. If you have national ambitions, they die with this vote.

And gives millions of tax dollars to private schools a thing many of us are fighting on the state level to keep property taxes from being diverted from public schools to private schools through vouchers.

Guess what! don’t give a rats ass what you have. We’ve never voted for a Felon and never will. Am the Democrat Chairman in my rural county, actively fighting to make life better. So know that farmers fight for community, others sit on their ass and finger point. Figure out what you do. Divide or do?

Attacking and alienating a small portion of working Americans (with little impact on the election)who provide you with an essential product (food) isn’t helpful or a winning strategy. Is this just fun for you or is acting like Trump by blaming, name-calling and taunting a new skill you enjoy?

R in rural districts which have been bombarded with targeted propaganda for decades.
Denigrating and blaming America farmers for the election of the Felon is nonsense! You are biting the hand that feeds you. 90 million ppl failed to vote in 2024. Fix that. 3/3

The American farmer represent less than 1% of voters and of that 1%, 30% have NEVER voted for the FELON. Rural residents are made up of retirees, factory workers and service employees. Only approx 10% of voters in rural areas own land and farm. It is the retirees and blue collar workers who 2/3

We have farmed since the 70s. Have never used unskilled labor (as in migrant labor) and have no work suited for untrained labor. It takes skills to operate the large, expensive equipment we use, safely, to produce crops. 1/2

FYI, the “bailout” did NOT go to small farms. It went to large, corporate farms, many owned by multinational interests, ppl Trump prefers. Family farms went bankrupt and were sold in record numbers during the first Felon presidency. The myth of farmer welfare reality is corp welfare. The rich got it

alike than we are different. We need to recognize each other. The Felon is so successful in dividing us we cannot recognize kinship or uniting ideas. We see ppl like Lisa Murchowski and only see her R, making her our enemy. She feels attacked and many invalidate immediately what she is saying?

Because she is a Republican and because she is belongs to a party you abhor, perhaps, you can’t see her beyond this label? I am what once was considered a moderate Democrat but in this day ppl have shifted into such absolute lines, we no longer recognize each other. We need to realize we aremore 2/3

Murkowski is doing her job as far as I can see? She is one vote in 100. She votes. She holds town halls. She supports her constituents and puts up with being targeted by the radical right. I don’t agree with all her political actions but don’t see her “kissing the ring” like Little Mike or MTG. 1/2

Yes, a person could change party affiliation but that is not our decision, is it? I think ppl should cancel their X account but their argument is they stay to “resist”. Their decision. Same with party affiliation, stay and bring it back to its values or leave? It isn’t our call.
comment in response to

So, what are you saying here? It is acceptable to threaten Senator Murkowski either with real or implied percussion but hands off AOC? Am certain AOC disagrees. This is wrong. No elected public servant from any party deserves to be intimidated and/or fearful while serving in public office.
comment in response to

My bet is it is all of the above. Any push back is considered disloyalty to Trump and they call it treason. The MAGA extreme threaten violence, financial and career annihilation, threats against family. You have heard and seen how they speak and act from Felon 47 to his MAGA base.

Idk? I am loyal to the principles of my party (Democrat). I know Republicans who are loyal to Republican principles &are not MAGA or Trump. That is not Republican. It’s a populist cult that has overrun the Republican Party. We need to recognize the Never Trumpers and not condemn ppl out of hand.

Am not “playing” anything. Nothing in the press, no advertising on venue, yet would it be a bit more positive to state, perhaps, most Nebraskans unaware of planned Lectern 1/6 Guy Event by Far Right Group, unable to locate venue so overall we don’t appear in support of this horse crap? The “briefing” marks the start of the President’s work day? Correct? So 11:30 am and he is in command, so to speak? He quits at what, 4 pm and golfs every weekend on our dime? WTH!

Bhahahahaha! And Costco just nods and says “do tell”. Iowa Attorney General Bird calls that “productive” while the rest of us call it polite pandering.

If “we” don’t know exactly where it happened, how do you know with any certainty it did? Did you go and see it? Just curious? Can’t find any info on this other than the venue cancelled it. The Nebraska Freedom idiots might rent an empty field but that is about all the venue they will find.

Why are Republicans so involved in private companies’ personnel policies? There was a time that a private company was free to develop and run their company as though they actually owned it?

Idk if 70% support this brutality in Israel or not? Idk who calls who what. This societal desire to make ppl “other” instead of simply ppl is wasteful division and distraction obviously causing harm and lives of innocents. Still, have read many Jewish writers speaking out and that means something.

This is why so many of us no longer subscribe or read WaPo, NYT and just so many mainstream media publications. We seek truth, not slant, lies, propaganda or misinformation. If we were interested in pure, blatant bs, we’d be watching FOX and NewsMax. We aren’t.

Am not a prosecutor but do know that there are crimes that are defined as federal by legal perimeters and statutes. Just claiming it won’t stand. This definition will be challenged in court and has to be proven beyond doubt. I believe, over all, judges in the NY district get things right.
