In 2017 the AGs of Maryland & D.C. filed an emoluments lawsuit against Trump over the business he was doing at the Trump International Hotel. The case moved up thru the court system with good success until it got to SCOTUS who declared it “moot” and vacated lower court decision. What has changed?
