Donald Trump, despite being the head of a party that has railed about deficits for decades, is about to pass a budget that increases the debt by $2.4 trillion. This happens whenever Republicans get into office, they reveal that a core tenet of their ideology is a lie.

As usual with these panels, the overwhelming characteristic is nonexistent or false information. Every call to understand and empathize with Trump voters (which is fine in the abstract!) needs to grapple with this.

I have never felt freer than living in Copenhagen in my late 20s. Everything was 15 minutes away on a form of transit (biking) which was free, safe and stressless. The β€˜freedom’ of driving is worthless if it means sitting in traffic and circling a block for a parking space.

I described it to some friends last week as "Die Hard if John McClean could only kill people by accident". The modern necessity for there to be no moral ambiguity to Taron Egerton's character leads to some clunky writing for sure.

Loved Alien Romulus. Never watched beyond Aliens prior, but Romulus made me want to go back and watch the less-revered Alien movies even. Truly great. (Also enjoyed meeting you and the rest of the cast/crew at the Chicago Haunt Season premiere! Congrats!)
