Clearly we are being lied to by Big Plywood.

This is the same person that erroneously said it was “good to be in Montgomery County” at the first primary forum for 2024 that was being held in Frederick County.
Not a great look when people are already not pleased that you don’t live in the district.

She’s an elitist, out of touch multimillionaire that doesn’t even live in the district.
Without her husband’s name recognition and her ability to pump millions of dollars into a primary, she would not have won.
The 6th deserves better than to be constantly purchased by the highest bidder.

There are a few folks making moves.

“The ‘peacekeeper’ who fired their weapon is not a law enforcement officer or associated with the dept. The dept. said it is not aware of whether the ‘peacekeeper’ was hired by protest organizers or was a volunteer, or acted on their own initiative.“
Also no record of permit for armed security.

Hell, Adams won last time on a strategy of telling his supporters to rank him and no one else!

In fact, I’d argue it’s the longshot candidates and not the front runners who should be advocating the most for filling out all 5 spots— unless of course they are some sort of perverse sickos who don’t want their supporters votes to count at all.

The whole point of RCV is to encourage people to rank their longshot candidates of choice higher. It’s malpractice to not encourage folks to fill out all 5 spots with that in mind regardless of who the messenger is.

Also, Chris really needs to stay in his fucking lane of covering SCOTUS.

It’s unlikely if those are your first choices, but there will still be folks who won’t.
I’d rather tell people they should fill all spots than have the chance of a significant amount of ballots getting exhausted because people wanted their longshots to win and they don’t understand how it works.

Not shocked. The stores are filled with expensive things and never have many customers.

Also, it’s important to fill out all 5 slots if you don’t want Cuomo, or your ballot could be prematurely exhausted!

I think his debate performance coupled with Ramos’ stunt probably got him into a lot of people’s 5th spot.

as much as anything, Andrew Cuomo's campaign represents the bipartisan consensus at the top that consequences and standards are for other, lesser, working class plebes. destined to suffer what they must for the outcomes others merely would prefer. But No Kings should mean No Nobles either.

They are struggling because our toxic capitalist culture demands infinite growth, but if your product is already in most people’s homes, it’s kind of hard to do that.

The problem here is that these numbers seem aimed at getting people to think we've triggered Erica Chenoweth's 3.5% threshold, and yesterday-as awesome and impressive as it was-did not do that. But the replies are full of "we did it" victory laps, which feels premature and counterproductive.

Without a clear call to action, it’s all theater.
Impeachment should be front and center, but Indivisible really never likes to rock the boat too much with Democratic leadership.

My hunch is that someone high up within those industries has let their displeasure be known to the administration, and this is just like the carve outs with the tariffs.
