Keep it peaceful, really loud, and stand proud (unless sitting is necessary). Watch out for agitators who might infiltrate. Have LOTS of safety monitors!!

True. I think he especially loves seeing protesters trying to flush tear gas and pepper spray out of their eyes.

Sitting down and peacefully doing absolutely nothing in the face of armed uniformed masked thugs...... priceless.

Hey Kai! The only questions are "Are his lips moving?" or "Is he typing?" If so, he's probably lying.

It was. We had a really great discussion with lots of scenarios. The key thing is, you HAVE TO be ready to accept the consequences if the chain of command eventually determines that you were wrong.

Please write more! Can you share the time leading up to them doing that, what was going on, what folks were doing? Thank you for being there!!

Hi Mark - I'm sorry that's happening. Most of my conversations have been so positive, even when folks disagree.

As a veteran, who twice in his career had to say "NO" to unlawful orders, I'm grateful to see ways our troops can let people know if they are given unlawful orders. In both of my cases my decision was correct but it was very difficult to stand by what I believed. Glad I did, though.

According to one witness, we're going to have to change the "First they came for" poem. First they came for the people with phones.......

I remember being an "usher?" during a display here in California. Such a somber and powerful experience. I came out at the age of 27 in the middle of the crisis. My future husband was an emotional support volunteer with ARIS. Hard memories.

To say that out loud (or type it)..... fucking crazy. For him to get away with it, even crazier. In America you should be allowed to donate to a candidate without being threatened by POTUS.

Just finished reading Happy Land. I learned a lot about how much land belonging to black Americans was stolen. #booksky shop.reachandteach.com/book/9780593...

Yeah, I just finished reading it. No details, no evidence like snippets of phone records, money transfers, etc... just the traffic stop.... Why not provide a few tidbits? Should be an interesting trial. Of course the WH and DOJ are poisoning the jury pool by talking too much.

Wow. But, with an education like that those kids are only going to grow up to be doctors, scientists, accountants, entrepreneurs, civil servants, service workers, nurses, therapists, police and fire fighters, some stay at home parents, caregivers, etc... My point? Finland rocks. We could rock too.

Yup. Due process. Trial. Lawyer. Jury. Judge. That's how it works. You'll see (I say ominously).

Who could EVER have predicted that? My real question is this.... How do the MAGA faithful, who LOVED Trump and LOVED Musk, deal with this? I know, though..... they'll all say they always hated Musk.

Gee! No one asked my permission but I sure would have given it if asked. You know, I think he's the president of his country and doesn't need anyone else's permission. Now, if he had coordinated with the United States I have a feeling things would not have gone well. Just saying.
