Journalism itself isn't the issue, the media moguls have bastardised it to become propaganda outlets for their own agendas... denying climate change, fighting renewables and making a dollar at any price.
Companies are run by anti-humanity socio/psychopaths.

It has to happen. With any luck it will be setup by the calibre of people across the world who setup the original, & not left to anyone here who gave us the NACC

It isn't snookering an imploding coalition, nor helping us, the environment or our kids.

Oh dear, a genocide defender. Where to begin with the lies, untruths and deceptions, but have you had a look at the many new illegal settlements, added since Oct 7? Netanyahu is openly working to remove all Palestinians from Palestine. Many of the israeli news outlets gleefully shout this every day.

Agree your 1st sentence, although the collateral damage would ultimately be a doomsday scenario in the ME.
Fallout etc would cause extensive harm to everyone in range (not israel) but Netanyahu has said he cares little for the "rats".

Genocidal war criminal says "look over there" and the world's media laps the shite up.
The lunatics really are in charge of the asylum for the time being. Hopefully, things don't get any more out of control (he says knowing it will)

Rubber treads, something like this stops the metal tracks eating up the roads, but not all roads can take the very heavy traffic without damage. Im sure we will hear about any damage if it happens.

Alternatively, the capsicum spray wars. Picture a friday/sat night outside the club at the taxi rank, fighting over who got there first. Can we trust people to use the stuff responsibly when people are gonna people?

There is a lot they should be doing, but it still won't fix a broken system that makes housing more attractive to investors than owner occupiers. Housing costs too much bc the checkout chick at Woolies who can't buy a house is subsidising someone neg gearing their 10th

It is very good. "Tactical Fatalism" seems to pretty accurately describe the current government. Nero fiddling while Rome burns.

Morning Dave, don't be surprised if we get a "but the Libs" vid proclaiming the NW shelf to be a master stroke, 24 dimensional chess check-mate by Labor in screwing the Libs ๐
Labor do need labor-stans to pump their tyres, but the wrong thing is the wrong thing no matter where it comes from

Then I think about the jillion and a half additives in food now that wasn't when I was at school & some plastic containers leeching chemicals into food. PFAS forever chemicals in frypans. Fresh & Unprocessed is always better ๐ but I know I struggle achieving that at times. Long rant over lol.

I've also read our gut biome health is super important, and the pre/pro biotics we take could have massive benefits, noting alcohol kills all the good (helpful) flora. Makes sense the food going in our mouths affects the stomach it lands in.

Isn't that why the poms sent over their worst of the worst, you know, for as little as half inching a loaf of bread to bloody eat.

I think the blocklists are great! I am sure they keep my feed fairly 'quiet' in that regard. I get almost no pro maga crap in my feed and I'm good with that.
Agree the diff algorithms, the feed moves fast and is busy.

Thank you for this. Also thanks to those at @theshot.net.au for being the only others to have the nads to interview him very calmly, clearly and with sadness detail the realities for Palestinians.
Not showcasing this belittles the lived experience for plenty now living in Aust. Bastards.

This is seriously the most well articulated article I've read on neoliberalism, in seriously ages. This in context of white women but there are so many parallels, playing victim when it suits.
I'll be checking out Rebekah Graham a LOT more in future.

100% tho I would argue it wasn't only Dutton, by a long way. Would also argue his preference was to play it EXACTLY along DEI lines, but was happy to play it any way it panned out, and he really panned.
Was also funny hearing Mr "it's not a crime to be a bigot" Brandis trying to claim the centre.

It will go off over there in the streets before too much longer, we're still in the second 100 days, maybe the third, fourth?
Part of me suspects they know this, so they relaxed gun laws further, allowing people to turn guns into machine guns. It's always the people who pay the price for democracy.
