Doesn’t suffer fools. Suffers self well enough. Believes in kindness as resistance and really good concealer. Runs on caffeine, curiosity & existential dread. Somehow balances a municipal job and a celestial agenda. Mostly kind. Occasionally feral.

...but not enough to educate: Exfoliate, then tan.

I think that is the plan from previous comments about not wanting to negotiate in public.

And somehow that perfectly encapsulates this whole dumpster fire of a moment in history.

Watching the colours spread under the skin increases vaccine uptake, probably.

It’s almost every single time. So disruptive.

Nothing says vacation like needing to pack your will at sea for those sick views from the Quarantine Deck!

What we’re seeing, hour by hour, is a man with no plan, making shit up as he goes. His team flails behind like a muppet gang, scrambling to spin policy from his latest word purge. Don’t elect morons. Educate your populace so they know one. gold gilt is not solid gold. Spot the con.

Pierre Poilievre saying “warrior culture, not woke culture” is the funniest thing I’ve heard all week. Brother, you look like you get winded opening a PDF. HUGE “Mom says it’s my turn on the Xbox” energy.

The Trumpiest of surveys I have ever had the misfortune of seeing. Like it was written by a teenage boy who only wants the survey to go one way and only sends it to people who already agree with him. Such a wannabe Trumpite. Ugh. 😩

Sounds like it started with a petition from an independent media individual from Toronto trying to make it happen… I took it down as I couldn’t find anything from official sources from other team directly.

Ahhh maybe I’ll take it down then. There’s enough real to worry about these days!

Embracing shadenfreude these days feels like a life-line to sanity amidst the prevailing winds of absolute bat-shit crazy.

How about “ Poilievre’s got slogans. Carney has credentials. “ or even “Carney: because grownups don’t govern in hashtags.” 🤣 (kidding, I agree with you)

I started trying (!!) to be more deliberate about what type of news I choose to consume and how often. It’s too easy to magnify issues through over-exposure to them, especially through the sensationalist lens of social and popular media. And sanity requires space these days.

I think people are just looking for hope. For a way through this current darkness. (We know it isn't Obama's job, but I think when people go through tough times they automatically look for people they think they can count on.)

I meant that the issues with America are more about internal shifts in political ideologies, not specifically about Canada. Issues with Canada seem more tied to this particular administration.

Unless he’s saying he’s really untrustworthy and is likely to give away those secrets… which I can believe.
