I think if she wanted to do that she probably would have. My thoughts anyway ...ðŸĪ”ðŸĪ” But, I had the same thought. I have fulls outstanding elsewhere. She's incredibly nice. But, I don't want to do that. I do have Fulls outstanding elsewhere.

That's absolutely normal. That's to be expected. Elevate it as much as you can. But keep moving! I can't believe you are actually climbing stairs already. Tell your Physical therapist...I guarantee she will tell you that's very good.

Wow. That's incredible. I worked on a rehab wing of a skilled nursing facility when I was a younger nurse. Knee replacements usually take way longer to get to that point. That you are walking up stairs this soon is amazing!!!

Physical therapists are so talented I swear they're magicians.

He's not in pain. He's showing empathy for you by mimicking your limp. This is way more common than people know. Don't worry about it! 🙏

Cherokee doesn't have blood quantum. You can be 1/16 th. You need to prove your lineage and then can apply. Each tribe is different.
comment in response to post
www.npr.org/sections/cod... Blood quantum laws - hated by all tribes. It's the federal government law/ Indian affairs. Each tribe has its own laws. Some only require 1/8. Most 1/4. Problem is that eventually the numbers go down.
comment in response to post
You absolutely can claim it. That's the colonial mindset that says you can't. It's called blood quantum, whereby indian affairs says you have to be one quarter blood to be NA. It's a way to extinguish us.

I guarantee they went thru hell. The residential schools were violent and robbed natives of their culture. Children were literally kidnapped and forced to live in these dank buildings. Hair was cut, punishment severe, punished if spoke in your native tongue. It was really, really bad

I am older. So, this was very common. Very.

I will never forget it as long as I live. I told my mom ( white) and I will cherish her words forever - "it's easy to live nice when you have money".

My white grandma used to drive me around the reservation telling me indians lived in filth and I was lucky to beable to "pass as white". This was the 60s. People just don't know what we went thru.

My father, now passed, was in a residential school here in Az. I was not. The avg person has no idea how abusive and traumatic these 'schools' were. I am half white and my white grandmother used to drive me around the reservation and point out the poor living conditions saying I was lucky
