Has that ever happened? I thought we'd have to appeal it to get it relooked at. Especially with VAR that did look at it and deemed it correct.

Not sure what he means by "hopefully we won't have to" regarding an appeal. Any ideas?

Well clearly I'm not because it got disallowed after a team of people viewed it from multiple angles in slow mo and ruled it hit his arm.
Also clear in the video above.
You're just letting anger and frustration cloud your judgement. Which I totally understand, it's very frustrating.

I thought you'd seen the reverse angle that showed it nit hitting his arm so wanted to see what you'd seen.
One of the vids I've seen is above our replies so you can see it. The other is on Twitter

Can you link to or post the reverse angle? because the two angles I've seen show it hitting his inside forearm and you can see his arm actually move from the force of it.

Come on Tim. You know better than to say this.
The VAR get to see angles we do not and that not shown in the ground or in TV. Just because we haven't seen other angles doesn't mean VAR didn't.

It definitely didn't hit his left arm.
It definitely did hit the inside of his right forearm. It's quite clear, annoying, frustrating but clear

This video is showing the ball hit his forearm. I'm confused?

Let's try not to be so dramatic. The club could sign a striker tomorrow but they wouldn't necessarily be at the level we need.
Buying elite level strikers takes time, effort, desire from both buying & selling club and January effectively will double the price tag.
It's not that simple.

Definitely hit his hand but not sure what he is meant to do with his hand. Cut them off?

I thought the same. Thought Rice won the ball.

Dunno if I agree with you here but Rice was certainly great today.
Wondered if Rice was a bit leggy lately when playing with Partey and hope he keeps up the performances.

Thankfully this isnt twitter so happy to have a difference of opinion. I think alot of young players now do not want to wait and learn their trade. They want to play now.
I hope he is different and signs the long term deal they offer him. Remember this isn't just about what the club wants

I don't really see Nwaneri as the same player as Merino and he certainly isn't going to player the Party/Jorginho role imo. But hey.....I'm not Arteta or Nwaneri so no idea what they are thinking.

Reull Walters and Smith Rowe as well that id forgotten about

The club tends to sell players because they refuse to sign a new deal without certain commitments. Players like Cozier Duberry, Omari Hutchinson, Chido Obi Martin have left in recent times that all had a future but not in the first team now.

Although I agree, a player like Ethan won't be a replacement for Odegaard for the next 5 years. He will want to be a starter every week and if we can't give him that....another club will. That's the problem.

They have been charging interest on their loans I believe so that is okay.
Any interest free loans will have to start charging interest or being converted to shares.

The APT rule change limits overinflated sponsorship deals from associated parties but also stops shareholders putting in unlimited amounts as interest free loans. They can put in money as equity or charge interest on loans but not interest free loans.

Thing is with what Chelsea did they can only do once. Annoying as it is.
Overinflated sponsorships can happen over and over again so it's good to have that loop hole plugged.
