I’m getting tired of these woke justices making up the law…looking at you Roberts

So, overruling 90 years of precedent on the shadow docket, while issuing an "advisory opinion" that the reasoning DOESN'T apply to the Fed (when there's no logical distinction between the two) . . . this majority treats the Constitution, laws, regulations, and norms as an Etch-A-Sketch . . .

WTF is this @kenwhite.bsky.social

“The Fed is different” is right up there with “only sec. 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment requires implementing legislation” in statements that really strain the notion that legal plausibility is any sort of constraint on the justices.

So the Roberts Court overturns Humphreys Executor and says the President can fire any executive officer, except the Fed….because pickles….this Court is so ad hoc principled www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/24p...

President Trump, the White House and the Department of Government Efficiency have all exceeded their authorities in requiring agencies to develop and implement layoff plans, U.S. District Judge Susan Illston said. www.govexec.com/management/2...

Given the fact scotus hasn’t blocked the TRO and the issue of universal injunctions are pending, this could mean the injunction stays in place at least through the end of June pending the outcome of the CASA case
