On the night of November 19-20, 2024, nine Russian special mission aircraft were also observed taking off from Moscow towards the east of the country when Ukraine was given the green signal to strike deep into Russia with long-range weapons.
Emergency exercises are also being held more often.
Interesting. Perhaps Putin is anticipating some payback from Ukraine for his murderous campaign against civilians in Kyiv? It’d be a shame if the Kremlin were obliterated in a massive drone attack…
My humble guesstimation (not more than that) is that they’re afraid about Ukrainian drones reaching Moscow. Ukraine is currently hitting Tver, which is 170km away
Probably. At least moving assets away from a hot zone is prudent of them, if not to just shelter VIPs. I think anything more significant would have been accompanied by a lot more panic.
But, with these clowns you never know - they can do a false flag operation, they can hit themselves to proclaim escalation.. Zelenskyy has warned about a buildup of troops in Belarus. These can either go to Kyiv or the Baltics.
i’m sure it’s an escalation of some kind. putin feels emboldened by trump. i’m so sick of that traitor. yet maga deludes themselves to believe they are still the party of Reagan. not that he was a great guy but he damn sure didn’t cozy up to dictators
Anything from blowing up their own nuclear plant to trying to invade Poland I wouldn't put past them. Putin's not a lot better than Trump when it comes to sanity and no better when it comes to morality; he's just smarter.
Well, I agree, and you'll notice I qualified it: not a lot better as to sanity, NO better as to morality, but he is smarter. "Smarter" is not always "better." The cruelest, most vicious, yet most incredibly intelligent politician of my lifetime, other than Putin, may have been Radovan Karadžić.
Putin is NOT intelligent. He's street smart, that's all he is. He had tough childhood, experienced cruelty & abandonment. He learned how survived. Trump never needed any of the survival skills, only adaptation. P's very arrogant, spiteful, vindictive, w/absolutely insane self preservation instincts.
These have been mentioned on various streams as 'VIP government aircraft', but still unconfirmed: https://youtu.be/6qg2y9pdoLQ?t=272

Any updates?!
I've watched it but lots of talking about what people have replied to their YouTube video, but one eye kept snapping shut out of boredom!
Ukraine has been trying for a long time to get 1,000+ km cruise missiles from Germany, Britain, or France.
Maybe they finally got some?
Maybe Russian intell knows Ukraine got some?
Ukraine started modifying F-16s for cruise missiles in 2023.
It's not very costly to use drones to bomb or terrorize Russia.
Ukraine makes many drones and can afford to use them without worrying too much about the cost on resources.
Cruise missiles are another matter entirely, especially long range ones.
Ukraine, if it has them, must use them effectively.
Drones aren't very good at evading air defenses.
They can't carry much weight other than their warhead.
But long range cruise missiles are very good at evading air defenses.
They carry onboard countermeasures and sophisticated guidance.
A modern cruise missile will probably hit its target.
I don’t think I’m alone in being suspect that all of these meetings with Russia, intel is being handed over to Putin. A lot of the trump noise back in the US is distraction from what’s really going on. He’s a traitor, we need more reporting/digging from the inside.
I agree. Our EU and NATO leaders are incredibly well educated and sussed in their jobs. Unlike the US they play their cards close to their chest so as not to give anything away to the enemy (sensible imo). So they're acutely aware of Trump's position and any treason.
looks like they are preparing for a backlash of a nuclear strike. it's likely this strike won't be only on the ukraine. if putin received enough data on critical usa targets via trump & elon it would be logical to strike those, who else is going to retaliate fast, let's see where trump & elon are
perhaps it's just a team-building trip, and they've invited the number one on the call 100 list, pharrell williams, who is celebrated not just for his talent, but for his relentless optimism, creativity, and ability to uplift others. maybe he'll even surprise them with a russian version of "happy"

Most likely military training facilities, is my guess.
Get ‘em Ukraine 🇺🇦💪
Anyway, with Russia there's always a fuckery in progress.
Kremlin is not unstable enough for a coup imo.
Did you get a track on them in the link?
Also how did OP identify them as government planes?

Long range cruise missiles are very valuable.
If Ukraine now has long range cruise missiles, then every military and government official in Moscow should be very scared and rightly so.

A modern cruise missile will probably hit its target.
But in any event, it shows low confidence in Moscow air defences
