Basic walking in step is rudimentary. Whoever was in charge of that detail could have corrected the shambolic saunter in a moment. I believe that they were doing malicious compliance. So was the mechanic who let that sad squeaky little tank go out without a shot if lubricant.

I'm considering how to make Psalm 94 into a good sign. Something about "throne of evil" and "killing the innocent by decree" is a good message, but too wordy.

Just like the Irish and Italian flags we see all over the Northeast. Danish flags in Solvang? Flood the tip line! www.pinterest.com/pin/15973773...

Now I'm seeing posts about ICE pressing IRS agents into service. That's an odd choice for escalating their current round of kidnapping brown people and squashing protests. If the Trump regime were competent and evil, I'd think they were about to start raiding organizations and grabbing records.

In 2020, Team Trump pulled in Bureau of Prisons riot specialists to crack down on protesters when the military refused. That made sense--those guys had relevant training gear, experience, and attitudes. I've been expecting to see them again when ICE needed more than cosplaying motorpool guys.

Can a throne of destruction be allied with You, one which devises mischief by decree? They band themselves together against the life of the righteous and condemn the innocent to death. (Psalm 94:20-21)

Do Mane & Tail shampoo and Bag Balm ointment count if I buy them at CVS, or only from Tractor Supply?

I've been thinking this. I keep seeing gear with mismatched wear signs (like the guy is wearing stuff assembled from different people) and things that are attached in awkward places. They aren't looking where they should be. Just ... odd. And dangerous.

When the US put Japanese and ethnically-Japanese people in camps, most of them lost everything. I knew a family that boasted of how clever they were to take over their neighbors farm that way. They promised to look after it, pocketed the property tax money, and used it to buy the land at auction.

I tried to re-read "Lucifer's Hammer" and I just couldn't. There was no secret what that cohort of SFF writers was about, because they put it on the page.
