These are typical this time of the year *but* that intensity is extreme even for Crete until 2-3 decades ago. Also, the frequency of dust transfer in winter/summer months (which is sth "alien" for that time of the year) has increased significantly. So, I tend to think that it has to do... (1/2)

They are so cool! All of them. Saturn's rings have spectacular features, even mountains of ice with huge shadows (We love Cassini... good that Trump wasn't president back then...). Comet... photos of Churyumov–Gerasimenko still haunt me. Awesome, dark gothic 🦇

Exactly. The conditions right now, around the globe, are strongly reminiscent of the 1930s (but I hope we will skip the 40s). The one way to keep sane (at least it works for me a bit) is to focus on what you love. The problem is that they are not letting you.

Long story. I don't know what to mention. "Failed state" is not just a bold statement. Today things are way worse for people than they were during financial crisis (out of which "golden dawn" went from 0.2% to 10%...). There are things going on here *everyday* that nobody could believe (not even me)

Not at all. Mobility is actually everything today. You, and everyone else, have every reason to complain about anything non-reasonable. I face similar problems as a freelancer, but ok, Greece is different. We are a failed state (but that's another story 😅).

Yes. It was faint but the red/pink hue was easily visible even from my neighborhood in downtown Athens, Greece (38o N). It was even better in October's storm.

Same here. I gave it some pdf files of old newspapers to search for some keywords. The results should be several dozens. After 3 weeks, it returned only 6 results and they were all wrong. Some of them were also based on newspapers that didn't even exist.

Same here. On instagram, one guy has stolen several photos from our group and made a reel with them mixed up with AI photos... We all made several reports and it was only 1.5 month later that they finally took the stolen content down. 1-2 years ago, the same process was lasting barely 1-3 days.

Indeed. Every day I come across all of these news and I can't understand how is this possible? The core values of the US destroyed by its own potus. This guy, together with his friends should be arrested before it's too late. They are very dangerous. They serve nothing but their own *ss.
