Wishing you good luck. I’ve heard people who get the surgery say they can see much better. Hope you have the same experience

After all these years of the GOP convincing Americans that giving money to the rich hoping it would trickle down, it’s time to realize that giving money to support transportation, lower rent, public education, healthcare, etc, would help Americans more than giving our money back to the rich

One of the main reasons to work for the government is to get a pension. We need government workers. This is awful!

How is cutting satellite readings considered to be waste or fraud? Seems like Americans would want their tax dollars spent on weather readings

The GOP always gets to greedy and the voters turn to the Dems. They voted away from the Dems in 2024 because despite higher prices, they had jobs and some spending money so they could afford to pivot away from the Dems. Now they’re hearing bad things about GOP so they’ll swing back to Dems

They get it alright. They get that people are finally realizing that they deserve more and the rich need to pay for it. What could be more frightening to a conservative?

This will hurt everyone but particularly red states who rely more on federal funds overall and won’t be able to cover the cost

What does this say about GOP voters who aren’t screaming about this? How can they be so heartless

Their is a racist component to GOP messaging that seems to attract voters more than the idea of higher wages and guaranteed healthcare. It’s kind of stunning

McConnell is retiring so he doesn’t care about his constituents (and never really did care). But Kentucky voters will care if they or their families lose their healthcare or food stamps

If enough Dems were elected federally they actually could increase taxes on the rich and give the money back to the states to use in many ways to help us all. Biden did this with the Inflation Reduction Act and the CHIPS Act

I hope this gets spread across all media outlets on tv and online

I think he secured his legacy when he refused to fill Scalia’s seat and then rushed through Barrett’s nomination right before the election

Why is it when white people win prizes it’s based on merit and when POC win it’s affirmative action? Why can’t they just be accomplished people who deserve to be recognized?

Did he forget that Trump nominated Powell in his first administration?

Just like every other GOP Congress, they will be found out and booted out of office. They are setting themselves up for a major loss in 2026.

Because they are so ashamed of their own history they don’t want their students to know about it

What’s stunning is that he’s not even trying to pretend he knows what’s going on in his department. He doesn’t care about the details, just wants to get rid of vaccines. Everyone in this administration has an agenda and none of it will help us

Why can’t the Dems block his nomination?

They can lie all they want, but when their constituents get kicked off Medicaid hopefully they will pay the price and be voted out (wishful thinking I know)

I’m sure there’s lots of anti-abortion women who quietly get abortions. It’s never about them, it’s about the cause.
