So what seems clear from the intel, is that we probably should have reloaded the B2s, and gone for a second round. Instead the impulsive toddler was desperate to have a strong ending to the movie and declare a cease fire. This is a show to him, entertainment, and he’s the “star”

Think it’s over? Think again. Here are four wild, unlikely—but fully possible—scenarios that could blow the doors off authoritarian power and ignite a democratic resurgence. The cracks are there. You just have to know where to look.👇 www.jackhopkinsnow.com

This budget bill will kill more Americans than every terrorist attack combined. They want our lives and our money. Adjust your withholdings. Starve the beast. Take more home each week. Keep it out of their hands. Repost if you get it. 1/2

Got to reshare this. Terrible, just terrible if it went viral. 😵‍💫

Josh Hawley acted like he was going to fight the Medicaid cuts that will hurt many thousands in his state - most his voters in rural areas. Then he ran away.

Bernie Sanders: “It is obscene to give tax breaks to the top 1% by throwing more than 16 million people off health care, cutting nutrition for hungry kids and making it harder for working class young people to go to college. That is exactly what Trump's budget reconciliation bill does.”

Senate Republicans have quietly inserted provisions in President Trump’s domestic policy bill that would not only end federal support for wind and solar energy but would impose an entirely new tax on future projects, a move that industry groups say could devastate the renewable power industry.

President Trump's financial disclosure shows more than $630 million in income from 2024 including tens of millions from cryptocurrency and Trump-branded products touted on the campaign trail.

Our intelligence confirms this - we have intercepts of high level Iranian officials who are surprised that damage at the nuclear facilities wasn’t worse. Trump is going to refuse to admit the truth, which increases the chances that Iran is able to reconstitute their program.

Our country already faces massive wealth inequality. Trump’s bill makes it even worse.

🚨MAJOR BREAKING: REPUBLICAN’S DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH VOTES YES TO PASS THE BIG BULLSHIT BILL TONIGHT!! Republicans are using their full debate time with no floor speakers- they’ll just run the clock. That pushes a vote to late Monday or Tuesday. The pressure is working!

If “current policy” becomes the norm in reconciliation, one (very) hypothetical example of how Democrats could wield it: Pass a $10 trillion Medicare For All bill for 1 yr at a $1T sticker price & extend it permanently the next year at a $0 cost. All without nuking the filibuster.

Who does the Beautiful-for-Billionaires Bill benefit? It’s certainly not your average kitchen table family.

By the numbers, Clarence Thomas has been treated to: • At least 38 destination vacations; • 26 private jet flights; • 12 VIP passes to pro & college sporting events; • 2 stays at luxury resorts; • 1 standing invite to an uber-exclusive golf club (Published 2023)

Russia launched their largest ever missile and drone strike on Ukrainian cities last night and sadly an F-16 and its pilot was lost last night. Russia's finance minister and central bank chief are sounding the alarm that Russia is heading for a sever economic recession unless conditions are changed.

Love this guy: @brianschatz This bill is a real piece of shit it and it would be excellent if that’s all anyone talked about for the next few days. Super interested in your think piece about the NYC mayor’s race but let’s get to that after we try to stop biggest wealth transfer in American history.

Actually what Americans just saw today was a prominent Republican US Senator announce he is quitting because he knows this budget is going to hurt millions of people and he was repeatedly threatened by the president and his cult for telling the truth about it.

Lots of Republicans are going to lose their seats over this budget - federal, state, and local. It will not cost Trump anything, other than finally some House oversight his last 2 years maybe. Which is how these things always go with Trump - others always pay for his sins.

I think it’s a great idea for Republicans to nominate Lara Trump for the open NC senate seat. Just like it was a great idea to nominate Herschel Walker, Dr. Oz, Kelly Loeffler, Kari Lake, Joe Kent, Scott Brown, Mark Robinson, Doug Mastriano, Winsome Sears, Tudor Dixon, on and on.

Amazingly, some news organizations are still using the term "fiscal hawk" to describe Republicans who are professing concern about the Trump bill adding $3.3 trillion to the debt. If those Republicans vote for the bill in the end, *at that point* can we stop calling them that?

Baldwin: I remember my cross-examination of Secretary Kennedy from HHS, and he said, “We will have radical transparency.” But what they’ve actually had is radical opaqueness. They never answer a letter. They never answer a question. It’s one of the ways that democracy begins to degrade—

Yesterday Trump threatens to withhold aid to Israel unless the court reverses their decision to move forward with Netanyahu’s trial. Today Israeli court reverses their decision and postpones it. What a joke.

Republicans want 1.1 *trillion* dollars in cuts to Americans' health care. www.nytimes.com/2025/06/29/u...

Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL): "Again, these inner-city rats, they live off the federal government. And that’s one reason we’re $37 trillion in debt. And it’s time we find these rats and we send them back home, that are living off the American taxpayers, that are working very hard every week”

This is insane. Two teenagers ask Mitch McConnell earnest questions about the BBB’s impacts on climate and he won’t even acknowledge their presence. He walks past them like a zombie. McConnell has no business holding any public office. Shameful. @quadzillahikes.bsky.social (IG)

What kind of heartless ghouls would cut healthcare insurance for destitute Americans by $930 billion AND starve them AND take vital services from their children So they can make a bunch of billionaires richer That’s exactly what Trump and the MAGA Republicans want to do in their Big Ugly Bill

America hates Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill”

We fought the good fight from emoluments to impeachment to criminal prosecution but Congress failed us and the Supreme Court has been fully complicit. We must keep invoking the lower courts’ fidelity to law but will need massive political mobilization. washingtonmonthly.com/2025/06/27/i...

💀 Russia loses 1,220 soldiers over past day

"The whole thing is just a disgrace. A policy disgrace. A moral disgrace. Rural hospitals will close, and working-class people will die so that Trump’s golf buddies can get tax cuts of tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars." https://trib.al/bBYxuas

When ordinary Republicans understand how Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill” would affect the after-tax incomes of American families, it turns out they don’t find it beautiful at all. “I was really shocked."

A U.S. Marine veteran and son of a man whose violent arrest went viral, said his father always prioritized he and his two Marine brothers' well-being so that they could "give back to this country."

Tucked into Donald Trump’s “Big, Beautiful” spending bill—which passed in the House last month, and promises major cuts to Medicaid—is a provision to spend $46.5 billion in taxpayer dollars on building his long-promised wall along the US-Mexico border.

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson called the Republican-appointed majority’s “decision to permit the Executive to violate the Constitution with respect to anyone who has not yet sued … an existential threat to the rule of law.” buff.ly/sKyTXdx

It's incredible that neither the president nor VP was here. The politicization of all facets of American life is coming from the White House. No other American president would have failed to pay their respects. www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2025/...

"These aren’t just your usual, run-of-the-mill GOP tax cuts. They’re worse. They’re the most redistributive tax cuts in modern American history, and by redistributive, I don’t mean from the top down. I mean to the top from the rest of us." https://trib.al/VpbY1JO

Lisa Murkowski cuts a last minute deal solely to benefit Alaska, exempting it from some of the more odious parts of the bill to secure her vote and sell out the rest of the US. Yeah this stuff sucks and hurts a lot of people, but I got Alaskans exempted so the hell with you.

Remember Collins and Murkowski could have stopped this. People who lose healthcare coverage will die because of them
